I think there is a good chance he will be gone after the season ends. Not sure whether Southgate will fit the bill for the Saudi Govt.....someone with a CV of European success will be more my guess. The Barca debacle will have hurt them more than losing to us.....which speaks volumes about their understanding of the club. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I think they'll go for Jose. He'll be looking for a final pay off, and he'll come and cheer them all up with some dazzling, entertaining football.

It will be him, they have always been obsessed with names. And it won't end well.
:emoticon-0102-bigsm His name was first into my mind!

With RDZ,

either way he'll get a MAHOSIVE payday fairly quickly or will leave for a "better" job

what I can see. ism he will be in the stand for our game, ( I can see the talks taking longer than Spurs want)

Doubt Southgate will manage again, he seems to be heading more towards football admin.

From what I've read about this CEO he'll not be there long. He seems to move along every couple of years. He seems to like the sound of his own voice and right now he's saying stuff the mags want to hear. But for how long? And what will happen if things don't panic out?
He must like sounding like a clot.

On this day in 2013:

"Paolo Di Canio was appointed head coach of Sunderland on a two-and-a-half-year contract."

On this day in 2026:

"We are pleased to announce the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi as our new Men’s Head Coach on a long-term contract, subject to work permit.

<laugh>

To be fair, they both pulled off a bit of a miracle ...

... hopefully De Zerbi won't match our Italian.

Surely it's "If Spurs stay up you'll have an extended contract, if you fail, you're out" why would you gamble on a manager and promise a 5 year contract if they're playing in the championship?

Speaking of De Zerbi..

Is it wrong I've put a bet on Mason Greenwood joining Spurs in the summer? (They'll stay up)

Sol Campbell is the man for Spurs …

… massive ego, limited experience and played for Arsenal.

Get him and Tony Adam’s, the super coach, as a double act.

Adams coach show the Spurs squad his ‘coaching dance’ while Sol paints his face white.

It’s bound to work!

You missed out that Campbell was also racially abused by the whole crowd in a Sunderland game, just nobody else at all noticed.

Unbelievable that those up the road would eject Howe after what he has done for that club...given where they were when he took over. But I guess when your CEO states that by 2030 The MIghty Maggots will be at the very top table of world football they have to do something

They were desperate mate. It might work, but they were really desperate and the bloke near enough wrote out his own contract.
