The one simple rule to adopt is players encroaching into the ten yard area when a free kick has been given .

All too often a player comes in and stops the kick being taken.Usually resulting in the free kick been taken backwards.
I would slam the ball at the offender as hard as possible aiming at the groin area but snowflake refs would probably card me for ungentlemanly conduct.

A maximum of 5 seconds to take a goal kick or throw in would be a huge change from what is tolerated now. No way that gets enforced.

How does that even work if the ball isn’t near the keeper?

Italy aren’t even going through a ‘phase’. They are just that ****. It’s even more embarrassing that Southgate allowed them to win the Euros.
Italy also went out in the 2014 Group Stage, along with us

The fact they've been this bad for 16 years and still managed to win a trophy that heavily favoured us should prove how **** Garuff actually was
