It’ll be interesting to see what they do with Geertruida and Traore. I personally wouldn’t sign Geertruida. Clearly a very good player but think we need someone more natural at centre half or holding midfield.

I’d be more inclined to extend Traore’s contract albeit we need an upgrade. It depends on rest of squad competition and whether we need that experienced head.

Think I read back when the summer wimdow shut that ghisolfi was already talking to people for this summer, loved thr confidence. I can see us trying to get that Fatuwa from Leicester om a lowball offer with them struggling. Been linked both windows.

Be nice to add some serious quality to a solid base. I’m expecting A BIG SALE but I have full trust that they’ll be able to replace.

Agree with that. Think geertruida was signed for versatility but also maybe if Hume couldn't step up we'd have mukiele and geertruida for RB.

I'd extend traore, been could when fit and available and we're limited a but with right wingers so would good to keep for at least another season and add to that position

Think my hope would probably be that we don't need to give Traore an extension and can recruit adequate cover. But if we can't I'm not against another year like you say.

Anyone know what the story is here? Whats the concept of the show (I assume a bunch of players in a reality tv show style format with them having a chance of a deal at various clubs? ) and how were we involved?

My first thought was sounds like "ultimate fighter" show. Few of my mates were into it and ufc in early 2000's and i seen a few episode of the show. The show put a group of prospects in mma together in a house and they competed to win a ufc contract. Reading that its pretty much same idea.

The thing with this and all the other top players we could lose - do they go straight into a top 6 sides starting 11? Are they prepared to wait no matter the pay is? Or do they start on improved contracts with us knowing they'll be starting with us form and fitness permitting. It wont be as cut and dried as some assume.
