PMQs was an odd affair yesterday. Badenoch's first question was along the lines of "will the Prime Minister agree to grant new North Sea drilling licenses". Starter replied that it was not within his gift to do so as the relevant legislation states that the Secretary of State is the one who must make such decisions. Bit of a cop out, but even Ed Davey said Starmer was correct.

Anyway, Badenoch just basically repeated the same question several times and of course got the same answer every time. Some political game obviously going on in the background but what a waste of time.

She's not impressive in any way, good at reading prepared questions but not great at thinking on her feet ...

... she has the look of someone destined to find herself working as the HR manager of a call centre.

Reform corruption? Donors for contracts. Tjis is only the start. Wait for Palentir?

The question she should have asked was the first one she put to him last week, " Did the Prime Minister speak personally to Peter Mandleson, before his appointment, about his relationship with a convicted *****phile" That is what she should have asked!

Starmer needs to walk for Mandelson mind, part cleared when McSweeney went. If we can avoid the public school racists getting in in many places, i hope Starmer gets a bloody nose
