There will be young kids absolutely baffled as they are too young to remember or been around when we were in the premier league and the 6 in a row etc... they won't know how long its been since they beat us and all they will have heard is ****e from mag adults around them!

Been told we are ****e a joke etc... us actually being as far down as getting beat by ****e teams in league 1, that fa cup game and then they will have heard how its 6 easy points for them. They would have been expecting easy wins and who can blame them when ya have adults like the it'll be 10-0 fella!
Don’t seem to hear much from him now:emoticon-0136-giggl
Anyone remember who he was?

It was interesting talking to Xhaka's guests and Talbi's parents at SJP...

... even more to see KLD, his brother, Ghisolfi, etc, chatting at the side of the pitch, during the warm-up, in their sunglasses and nice shirts.

It got me wondering about the atmosphere around SJP and how guests, visitors, players families, etc, are greeted.

As they don't have owners who can actually show their face, in the stadium, who are people welcomed by?

Is it 'tan in a can man' Jason Tindall or is he too busy with his matchday masterplan or is it a famous ex-player like Joey Barton perhaps? Does this affect the players knowing their guests are being shown to their box by 'Vicky' with her lanyard so people actually know she's staff? Who do they have a drink with after the game, do they have a video call to Saudi?

I'm sure the KLD party would've looked after the players entourages and had some nice selfies for them to show off ...

... but the Mags guests would've just drifted away not knowing if the hard working PIF investors were there, in Saudi or actually exist.

Intriguing.

watched the full 90 again (of course) and i noticed just how good geertruida was, much more involved than i thought from first watch.

also watched plenty of the 'propaganga' vids...no wonder the interweb is off in tinyside.
He's very good, wherever he plays. You can see why Liverpool were sniffing, Slot will know about him.
Hopefully Slot gets a farewell and we sign that lad up.

Just looked again ( :)) at Talbi's goal. As the ball came in from the corner he was being held by their 41 (not sure of his name...) using both arms and was completely prevented from going for the ball. The 41 then wandered off giving Talbi the room to hit Diarra's assist. But would that have been a penalty if it hadn't gone in?

He was excellent and stayed switched on all game, cut one pass out right at the end that would have been a tap in.

I asked my Mag family today,
'What was Woltemade's most significant contribution in the two Sunderland derby matches?'

You could almost see them thinking the header was better executed than the miskick to Gordon!

In over three hours of football his two standout moments weren't even deliberate ...

... seriously, they've paid a fortune for a player that, occasionally, the ball bounces off <laugh>

Never a truer word said in jest.
