Whilst it's mathematically possible I'll happily hold on to the hope of it.
Pompey squad is largely composed of average League 1 players that has overachieved last season and the season before. Potts and Hayden played a huge part in guiding Pompey to safety last year. With the drop off in quality this season, it is not surprising to see Pompey struggle. Of the 3, PFC, Oxford and Leicester, I would like Oxford to survive. Pompey really need to develop.a long term playing structure as their transfer policy has been scattergun for.3 seasons now, so perhaps a relegation might improve that aspect as it did Southampton in 2009. As for Mousinho, I hope he leaves with dignity. Changing manager now will be fruitless!

Pompey's dip in form is such an unexpected bonus right now. They were looking pretty decent just a few games ago.Can you imagine. Pompey relegated Saints win FA Cup. (Lose the Playoffs as we don’t want to go up).
Which is good as Pompey are 9 years out of 10 ****.Pompey's dip in form is such an unexpected bonus right now. They were looking pretty decent just a few games ago.
I swear it is impossible for both clubs to be doing well at the same time.
Bookies reckon its Oxford and the Skates to go down.International break comes at a good time for Pompey to reset. Tough games for most of the bottom teams on Easter Friday, but then there’s the Easter Monday fixtures which are looking massive in the relegation fight.
21st Pompey v 23rd Oxford
19th Blackburn v 20th West Brom
24th Sheff Weds v 22nd Leicester
23rd - 19th currently separated by 4 points
I still feel like Leicester have enough quality to get them enough points to survive. West Brom too to a lesser extent, they’ll be hoping the international break doesn’t interrupt their new manager bounce. Feel it’ll be between Pompey, Oxford and Blackburn for 2 places.

I think that Portsmouth have under achieved this saeason. They did not massively improve the squad and Chaplin has not replicated his form from last time. On top of that , the squad has been decimated by injuries.Pompey squad is largely composed of average League 1 players that has overachieved last season and the season before. Are you related to Mousinho?I think that Portsmouth have under achieved this saeason. They did not massively improve the squad and Chaplin has not replicated his form from last time. On top of that , the squad has been decimated by injuries.
I am surprised how their form has dipped the last month or so. They looked safe but cannot buy a win now.
I think they will lose Mousinho who will do better somewhere that is prepared to back him. Not sure that he is the issue which i think is the lack of depth in the squad.
Looks like 2 from Leicester, Oxford and Pompey. I think it will be the last two who join Wednesday.
