They thought it would be an easy 6 points from us this season, with all of their star players, but the reality was 6 points for us with our reserves!

What they do not understand is that we will be even stronger next season after we have the benefit of another summer transfer window.

After how, we have performed this season and brought on young players, there will be a queue of talented players wanting to sign.

This season was there best chance to beat us and they failed miserably!
We won't be signing many probably. But we'll sign well. And every current player will be better for having this season behind them.

That lot have about £300m worth of players they don't want and will be stuck with .

I have started watching our matches with the sound off, instead of listening to scripted, clichéd, ignorant, irritating ****e.
I get a much better feel of how the game is going. After 20 minutes at Leeds I could see that they did not have the quality to hurt us.
I told this to my toon mates on Sunday evening, and then said that the longer the game went on the more I realised that the toon are just a poor team.
Lots of glum faces and no argument.

If the Saudi's let the club stagnate, who or what the hell are they going to shout at, the Saudi Embassy building? At least they could shout at Ashleys shops without the threat of being invited inside for 'further talks'. It must be a little concerning not really knowing who is actually in charge of the club and having no real connection to them. They will dare not protest against the owners because....

a) they are not sure who to complain at
b) they actually have spent alot of money
c) the threat of the club being dropped like a stone (the Saudis can afford to cut their nose off to spite their face)
d) after the sickening fanfare after being taken over, they'll look like utter bellends if they start parading around with coffins again
e) their owners are scary

Add the fact that they have been reluctant, up until now, to attack Howe, they must be tying themselves up in knots trying to figure out who to vent their frustrations at. Ashley and those he employed were their lightening rod. They dont have one anymore.

Im waiting for a story to break that they have been fined billions, face a transfer ban and points deduction coz they have bribed officials

since they have been taken over, they have won One trophy, and 2 CL Campaigns, spent MILLIONS on players for what?

No shiny new stadium that was promised, or better transport links, or improved areas around st james

we have been in L1, wembley twice, spent 3 years in the championship, come back to the PL and done the double, spending a fraction on what they have.
Improved the SoL, and starting to improve the area around, better links to the ground ( the Reggie Le Bridge Bridge for example)

You make to many sensible comments to be on a football forum...

They'll blame Ashley.

He should have gifted the club to Bin Salman, as a gesture of thanks to the homely and generous welcome he always received up there in thanks for saving them from bankruptcy.

I only unmute the sound if we're attacking otherwise my thumb is constantly on it.

As you say there was only one football team there on Sunday ...

... Newcastle are like a bulldozer at the archaeological dig for Richard the Third.
