If Collyer can’t remain fit or have an impact for the last seven games of the season then it really is one of our most pointless loans. With Slater out, he should be making his case to start in all of these games. He’s been here nearly two months now and played just over 30 minutes.
Koumas has scored a couple of winning goals and Hirakawa was great until he got injured. The January transfer window is looking increasingly poor. Who's actually made any impact? Arguably just McNair.

I'd say the only really poor signing was Dowell.
McNair’s one of our best centre-backs and should partner Hughes in a back four when we have fit fullbacks. The January transfer window is looking increasingly poor. Who's actually made any impact? Arguably just McNair.
Really? For me Ajayi is Bambi on ice, I’d prefer Egan over him any day of the week!McNair’s one of our best centre-backs and should partner Hughes in a back four when we have fit fullbacks.
Ajayi is very aggressive and has decent recovery pace but looks like an absolute giraffe with the ball at his feet. He actually makes some good progressive passes at times though. It’s like watching a toddler drive a car competently. Like, yeah, they’re driving okay and haven’t crashed yet but it’s still a kid…
Egan’s our worst centre-back, in my opinion. Slow as ****, not particularly tall or strong and pretty **** in possession. He has ‘experience’ and I hoped he had decent defensive and positional awareness but he doesn’t. Constantly comes flying out of position to win the ball which leaves a gaping hole in the defensive line and he cannot deal with balls over the top. I’ve lost count the amount of times he lets a long ball over the top bounce whilst jostling with a striker instead of winning first contact.
Yeah, Ajayi looks like a giraffe but I struggle to name Egan’s strengths.Really? For me Ajayi is Bambi on ice, I’d prefer Egan over him any day of the week!
I kept an eye on Dowel after he came on and I thought he worked hard and did ok
For me it’s like Apples & Oranges, they’re both a bit dodgy at defending, but decent in the opposition box, but for me, Egan doesn’t have that absolute disaster waiting to happen that Ajayi does.Yeah, Ajayi looks like a giraffe but I struggle to name Egan’s strengths.

Baz in his latest article, said he was expected to be fine after the break. He also said Giles, Jacob and Gyabi are hoped to be back for Oxford.Who said he'd be back for Oxford?
You mean this...Baz in his latest article, said he was expected to be fine after the break. He also said Giles, Jacob and Gyabi are hoped to be back for Oxford.
And before someone in particular tells me he was just repeating the line from the club, maybe learn the lesson from crooks and Matazo and just keep the powder dry until we have some facts.
