Brobbey song on repeat in my seratonin riddle brain.

How ****ing good was Brobbey man he absolutely beasted them.
He was awesome mind.

His year before coming to us is well known, and he seems like a quiet kind of lad. It must have been a bit a relief to get away from all that rubbish he and his suffered, but still a plunge into deep water coming here.

I just think that that the club, the players, and the fans have wrapped their arms around him a bit. We have shown him we care. He rewarded all that today with an absolutely epic effort. Bloody, absolutely unplayable today man, I was so pleased he got that goal.

That lad there is one serious, serious player in the making.

Well said mate.

We knew we were a lower league club fighting to get back up, no need to rubbish us in a cup game ...

... they're paying for it now and will already be dreading the next derby.

Evening mate. Yeah, well revenge and cold springs to mind. I said last night I had zero nerves, yes I was a bit concerned when the team sheet came out but who wasn't, but that's who was fit and so be it, but I also said Newcastle are scared of Sunderland, it's clearly a fact now. On an even playing field they just can't touch us. I dismissed the FA Cup game as it wasn't even, but they seem to think it was a cause to take the piss and everyone at Sunderland took notice. Luke made a clanger, but refused to hide, and for that it just shows his stones. As for Brobbey...... what can be said that hasn't been said, the man is a pure athlete, and an absolute uint and if anyone was going to score the winner, I'm glad it was him. Good to hear from you mate.

That for me sparked it all off again. We were down in leauge one for years, they were taken over, doing well, and there was an opinion of "Meh" when it came to them.... then they take a photo on the pitch to take the piss, that was a moment of "okay you ****ers, like that is it"?
Bang on mate. They are an entitled bunch off of over paid, over rated mirror watchers.

They have let loose an opponent they currently do not understand, and clearly cannot beat.

I'm sure the German coaches know better than me but I honestly don't think he's a good footballer.

He has loads of flicks and tricks but you can see he really winds up his own team ...

... I certainly wouldn't want him replacing any of our players.
He is a good player, Howe has ruined him.

He will go back to Germany at a huge discount and have a cracking career.

He's had a bit part this season but just wait til he grows up....we could see something special next season.
Whenever I see him and Xhaka in the same shot, i seem to see a ''chemistry'' , if thats the right word, or a connection ---- sure Rigg is learning a lot from him, even if there's no specific intention of Xhaka to teach

After his mistake he never put a foot wrong, unfortunately he'll be remembered and called for that mistake even though we won!
Just as a point of order he was lucky not to concede a penalty for shirt pulling but he had a good 2nd half

Bit complicated but though London is the de facto capital of the UK, it's never been officially declared as the capital city. So technically the UK doesn't have an official capital city, the capital is wherever the government is at that time. Which means technically when Boris has that full cabinet meeting in Sunderland 6 years ago on Brexit day, Sunderland could have been considered as the UK capital for that day as that is where the government were then. It's a stretch, I know, other than the cabinet being here then everything else was still in London (the High courts, the government departments administrations, etc), but if you do stretch it and consider that with modern communication things don't have to be centralised, for one day Sunderland could be looked as being the temporary UK capital. No-one would actually claim it to be, but if that were to happen in Newcastle you'd definitely get some claiming it.
