We’ve said it all season mind every time we press on we are a good side. We need to bring a couple in that allows us to sustain that.

Talbi, flaws he’s shown, promise he’s show . Big moments though.

I think he will absolutely glow up next season.
His shot first half was heading right in the top corner, just a shame Ramsdale realised he had hands and saved it

The best thing today was how we came out second half and as soon as the whistle went we went after them and dominated.

Was beautiful to watch and you just knew a goal was coming
The best thing today was the reaction to the opener.

We kept shape and never looked rattled. Was massive that.

So easy to collapse we never looked like we would.

What has Newcastle United midfielder Joelinton said about Sunderland?

Newcastle United midfielder Joelinton has claimed that he “can’t wait” to “beat” Sunderland when the two bitter rivals face off at St. James’ Park in March.
The Black Cats won the first Wear-Tyne Derby of the campaign back in December, recording a 1-0 victory over their visitors courtesy of a Nick Woltemade own goal. As a consequence, Sunderland’s unbeaten league run over their neighbours now stands at 10 matches.

Reflecting on the derby during an interview with Newcastle’s official match day programme, the Brazilian said: "It still hurts. It's still painful to me and was a sad day, especially not playing, not being on the pitch and [being able to] do something. You never want to lose a derby.

“After so many years, to play them... We just didn't play the way we wanted, so it still hurts and it's going to hurt until the next game, until we beat them. I can't wait for that day. I think a lot about the next game against them and I hope it comes fast.

Ive had one complaining about them missing Bruno and Tonali. My response....

Our 1st choice GK - Injured. Our 1st choice RB - Injured. Our 2nd choice RB - Had to play LB, cos our 1st and 2nd choice LB - Injured. Our RB today was in fact a DM. Our best CB - Injured. Our 2nd choice CB would normally be our 1st choice RB - Injured. Had to play a 5ft 10 CB who we bought from Wycombe Wanderers. 1st choice LM - Injured. 2nd choice LM whose position is normally CM - Injured. Our 3rd choice LM - Injured. Had to play our 3rd choice RM there. 1st choice RM - Injured. 2nd choice RM - Injured. 4th choice RM - Injured. 5th choice L/RM - Injured. Had to play a CM there. Xhaka and Brobbey have also just come back from injury.

No response.

Ive probably got my L/R midfielders the wrong way around but i think they got the jist of it. If i was a town fan id be ****ing fuming today.

Woltemade cant even run properly, looks like a proper weirdo

I'm sure the German coaches know better than me but I honestly don't think he's a good footballer.

He has loads of flicks and tricks but you can see he really winds up his own team ...

... I certainly wouldn't want him replacing any of our players.
