I'm more optimistic about this game than when we played Sunderland in Feb 2014 with the Amoebi brothers up front. They're better than they were then, but **** me that team was bad.

The dogshit from last night actually allows us to go under the radar a bit, and surprise people with a regrouped performance.

Plus first half was actually generally very good last night, an opportunity to nicely rebound here.

A rocket up their arses and a bounce back performance will not end well for our next opponents. They just happen to be a dogshit side that has fluked their way to 40 points.

They clearly ain't that great, they just got lucky managing to land Xhaka. Everything's going through him, just get Joelinton on him and control midfield and they'll be there for taking.

I can see some second season syndrome for that lot, they've tailed off recently with 4 points from the last 18.

We aren't either... Howes lost the plot too at this point I think....

I’ve forgiven them for last nights **** show. Very bad day at the office, a couple of slips, a couple of bad passes, and a few pieces of brilliance by Barca.
It’ll be a cold day in hell for me to forgive them if they don’t turn up on Sunday.
If they don't turn up Sunday and even dare get any result other than a win they can all **** off. That includes Howe.

...Never, ever drop Dan Burn...
You mean the Dan Burn that's been selected again for the England squad by a manager who's forgotten more about football than some of the experts on here will ever know. I'm a bit concerned about Tuchel if he's picked Dan Burn on a whim without proper consultation with Chaos etc.

Imagine their surprise when they find that there are 5 Newcastle players in the England squad.
