Last season he was excellent and often looked too good for the Championship. What happened, do you think?
Not sure he ever looked too good or at least for any sustained period of time. We’re a stepping stone to most of these guys if they turn out to be any good which is fine but my guess would be we either rejected a paltry offer as was suggested in the media or his agent touted him about and didn’t get enough bites and he’s been a bit stroppy about it. Or he just bought the mild hype he earned and stopped doing some of what got him that. Either way I won’t be unhappy if he gets his move to France.
This is upsetting to hear from an authority on the sport and life in general.

Wonder how this fits in to Nourry's master plan? Buy them cheap and re-sell for big bucks when the internet says they're cooked through. Suspect he has a price fixed in his head and won't be selling for less than that.
I expect Strasburg to come back with an offer in the summer that Nourry will accept. He's just come back from Injury, and they know his level of performance when on song as they have already put offers in for him. I definitely think he will be gone in the summer. Hes not a bad player, certainly not as bad as some are making out on here. The whole squad have been awful at times this year, no exceptions
In regards to transfer policy will be interested to see what we do we Celar and Saito, as we have appeared to have paid into the millions for them, and currently will not be worth that. Edwards is a wait and see full potential before knowing his true worth. We will make money on Burrell, Kone, Poku and Dembele as they cost so little.
That whole Celar thing is going to be very interesting. No goals. Fighting in training. Who is going to want him? Easy answer, no-one in our league level or above.
I can imagine a scenario where we’d have to contribute to his salary just to give him away on a free so it becomes a bit of a stand-off until he goes to Slovenia late in the window.
Wonder if Lugano would take him back, profit for them and clearly likes playing at that level?
I don’t have any strong feelings either way about Pompey but fans of a certain age may recall a violent encounter off the pitch around Q block and find some enjoyment in putting them into the relegation mire. It’ll be a lovely day other than the trains being ****ed.

I suspect Varane would have been sold in January if he hadn't got injured and we would have kept Field. Injuries have really screwed us this season, which is an understatement.
