I don't earn a lot (less than 30k) and got onto the ladder last year and I'm only 30 odd and living on my own. Same with a lot of my friends (minus the living alone bit). Don't know what all the fuss is about re youngsters not being able to do it. Prioritise it and it's more than doable, although choosing somewhere cheap like Hull does help.
Well done you but your last comment is more than pertinent. Lots of young people don't have that choice for work, family, whatever reasons. That combination of higher house prices, big deposits, big mortgages, big salaries to fund it all is a perfect storm for people starting out.

Mine's probably in the bottom 15%.

To be fair though,I did do an online one once but I'm not overly sure it was a legit or accurate measuring tool? Anyway it came back at 138 when I printed it out to show my wife that I wasn't a thick **** afterall, problem was her printer was a bit short on ink at the time and I fear the - had been omitted:emoticon-0116-evilg
I’m sure it’s a lot higher than that.

Don’t forget the Greggs , Starbucks , Costas , weekends abroad , £60 k weddings , leased BMW’s don’t know how they manage poor things .
Try stopping in for two years with your girlfriend , occasional pub trips , buses and walking and saving a 10% deposit then finding you can after all buy a house - maybe unable in the rich overpriced south but more than possible midlands northwards .

My point, exactly.

Wow, you've hit a new low now. Well done.
Those school kids are so lucky to have you as their teacher.
Btw, he was there until 19th January.

If he was there until January, then why did you suggest he went out after the spate of injuries we've had in the last two weeks?

Didn't realise he'd made two senior appearances for Bradford. So more experienced than Pandur two years ago in English football. Throw him in!

Syd, you are at it again, making stuff up that posters didn't actually say. Show me where I said or suggested he went out "after the spate of injuries we've had in the last two weeks". I didn't!!

I'll readily admit though that I thought he was at Scarborough more recently than late November to 19th January. Time flies eh. There, it's easy to admit when you get something wrong. Try it.

Re. Panda. Nice attempt to dig yourself out by pretending your claim about Panda being so inexperienced was only related to him not having played in England before!! Maybe I'm wrong but I'd say 75 senior appearances in Croatia, Italy and Holland top divisions and caps at U21 level just about trumps 2 senior appearances for Bradford.....especially when those 2 appearances amounted to a grand total of 5 minutes actually on the pitch!!!

Oh my god!!! It wouldn't be bizarre if he were good enough and ready enough!! He isn't. How many times have you seen him play? That isn't me saying this, it's those that see him play and train every single day. They've sent him off to Scarborough at a time when Giles, Jacob and Famewo were out injured and Coyle was carrying an injury (and now out)!!! Why is it so difficult to see and accept the bleedin obvious? Do you know better than them?

<laugh>

That's not answering the simple question I asked!
I openly admitted I wrongly thought his loan was later than late November to 19th January.
But ... back to the point ...... you're exact words to me were "why did you suggest he went out after the spate of injuries we've had in the last two weeks?"
I asked you to show me where I said or suggested that. I didn't. Nothing like. You made that up. Please stop doing that.

To the wider point ...
Giles, latest injury early Feb, having come back from earlier injury
Jacob, came back injured from Reading in January, injured again Feb
Famewo, latest injury start of March, like Giles having come back from earlier injuries
Coyle, been carrying / managing his ankle since at least the start of March (in fact, he's had ankle issues since I believe at least 2020, and they're v difficult to fully get over).

So, the fundamental point is, given the history, don't you think if Wadsworth was an answer, he'd have been drafted into the squad and been on the bench these past few months ... or do you know better than the club? I think another post of yours earlier today inadvertantly gave an answer, when you said (when talking about Hugh Parker) "You just don't know until you actually see them play". You haven't seen them play! Concepts are one thing, and conceptually you have been making fair points tbf, but then there's reality and practical application.
