Don't misunderstand mate.....I'm enjoying this season immensely....I enjoy watching us play and look forward to every match with optimism. I absolutely love, and am very proud, where we are as a club right now,and I'm extremely optimistic about our future.
However, I don't see that casting a glance over our shoulder as we approach the finishing line is necessarily filling the air with gloom and negativity.

Yes, I get that mate, I was exaggerating a bit tbh.

It just surprises me that, even quite recently, people were still hoping for the likes of West Ham to lose against a team we're vying for Europe with ...

... unless we lose our better players in the summer, and don't replace them, I'll start next season expecting the top half again.

I wonder what points the 3rd relegation spot will be... could be quite high?
I think 38. And I think Spurs.

They look lost and angry, with a very short term manager who they might even sack. And then what?

West Ham look like they have finally stopped leaking stupid goals, have the best of the managers down there and have Summerville scoring to take the weight off Bowen.

At Forest, they are all so **** scared of the mad Greek, I think they'll somehow manage it.

Leeds, wobbly though they are really do have the best run in, and if they blow it from here, it's unforgivable.

So Spurs for me, on 38 points in eighteenth place.

Leeds would have been looking at their home fixtures and assumed safety. Now they'll be thinking 'If we can lose at home to Sunderland, we can lose at home to anyone'
That one defeat has totally changed the mindset of their fans. I wonder if it will their players?

Burnley must be worrying, as if wolves can keep this up, Burnley will finish bottom

I agree with most of this though the way Spurs are they might not get 38 points. I'm seeing flashbacks of us in the 19 points season where it looked like we'd given up and never got another point. Spurs have a similar look now, not losing every game, but not winning any either. I can see them struggling to get another half dozen or so points, but I could be wrong. It's still likely to be a high number to stay up this season, definitely close to 38. I'm just happy we aren't involved in it, but we've still got a big part to play in it against some of the others.

This weekends game could be massive
