It doesn't really matter to him whether Spurs stay up or not. He gets paid and then he's out of there regardless.

Personally I don't think he even begins to turn this around for a few weeks, if at all.

He tried to get them to play a whole different formation and set up yesterday and you could see that the players didn't cope. Surely it's better to come in first game and set them up with what they are used to, and work from there.

This group of players are low on confidence and morale, and he's trying to teach them a new system when they just need to be steadying the ship and playing it safe.

He could just end up pouring fuel on the flames

Hopefully :)
All upside. Gets a 2-3 year deal if he wants it if they have a decent 12 games. Walks away with a couple of million if not and his wife has a lovely old time at Harrods.

Don’t think the plan was a bad one with so little time to decide what to do. The players just failed to execute it. Nothing you can do if Arsenal’s best players do something brilliant but the basics weren’t there at all. The space Gyokeres gets for his first goal is laughable. You don’t need a manager to tell you that’s crap.

I think they are close to the stage now where they just throw their hands up in the air and hope for the best

They look clueless and rudderless. It's not even like they have any players who can take a hold of the team and shake them into some kind of shape

That said, one win can change the whole mood and momentum, but you just don't know where it might come from for them at the moment.

They could go to Fulham and get spanked and then it's a full on emergency situation for them

I have seen a few relegation battles, these don’t look up for the fight sadly.

I think it's probably only just dawning on a few of them that they are in a proper relegation scrap.

I saw a few clips of Tudor on the touchline trying to instruct the players when to move up, and what position to be in and they just didn't do it.

There's a clip of Tudor telling Van de Van to push up and he just shrugs his shoulders and steps back. I think that comes from trying to implement a new system with a group of players whose confidence is totally shot.

Yeah saw that. Not a great look. Especially not a great look to ignore him and concede four.

Not entirely comfortable with this - if he's guilty then he should be hammered ... should be zero tolerance for rascism from players ...

... but what happens if it's subsequently 'not proven' ?

Suggests they don’t have a clue what happened but need to be seen to be doing just about enough to make it go away.

We needed Harry Redknapp as our gaffer

Too many managers are married to their systems and that had made the game boring imo

He played 3 at the back yesterday and stuck our best midfielder in defence and we got out numbered in midfield and playing 3 at the back conceded the flanks so that Daka can look like prime Messi

Then again he only had 13 first teamers to work with...apart from Solanke and Richarlison our bench was full of kids.

All this is on ENIC as far as I'm concerned in the long run and watching us demise like this is exactly what is needed

I think we need to get into bottom 3 for real yet to maybe get a proper reaction because the morons running us haven't got a clue about the game.

Here's the problem for me with players. If a supporter commits racism within a football ground, if you are caught they put you down the cells, even if they can't prove it was you.

Why are players any different, the accusation was made, he should have been arrested after the game or even during it if you like. If cops can arrest someone and their family for allegedly calling Evans a fat scottish ****er, why is the law any different for players?

The fans were eventually let go with no charge, the player could well of been let go as well, but at least it sends a clear message - if you behave in that way during the game, the police step in and not the ref. I'm sure no one cared when the guy in the wheelchair was nabbed at Pool... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm218l7jm5xo

You only need to it the once, players won't do it again.

You even see the police on the pitch in the picture below. Obviously I know it didn't happen in the UK, but if FIFA/UEFA really want to set standards, let's do it...then we can make claims against Arsenal until enough have been arrested for Spurs to win. <whistle>

I'll tell you why it doesn't happen, because it's all words and no one cares until the next time.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing when your teamsheet came out

Trying to get the players to play a new system when he's only been there a week and nobody really knows what they are doing.

It showed on the pitch

Madness in a game of this magnitude. Should have been safety first.

I think you might get your wish soon enough bro
