Should have thrown bottles at them from West Upper. Our state of the art CCTV cameras can’t pick that up as despite a lot of people being injured by them at the FC v Rovers game no one was ever arrested. Seems words are more serious. Or maybe the plod are not interested in arresting rugby fans?
Funny how the gate is closed after the match for some clubs, but last night it was opened straight away.

Having been in East as usual last night I've watched the BBC coverage this morning, a good show, lots of respect, Shearer getting stuck into Delap, don't see him as good enough tbh, nice piece at HT with Curtis Davies taking the nation through our glorious FACSF victory and then scoring in the FACF. Worth the licence fee.

Was that your doorbell ringing? Old Bill looking for you perhaps... :emoticon-0100-smile
They'll have to talk to me through the window, the last copper to knock (I can't afford a doorbell) on our door got asked a question by me. 'Shall I start filming'?
Turned out he'd got the wrong address, our address is on the sign six inches from where he'd knocked, keep 'em peeled.

No disgrace in tonight - just hope the absentees were rested rather than injured - if so, better times ahead hopefully.

Thought the Chelsea fans were poor, but their 'mauled by the Chelsea' (complete with actions) just highlights the infamy and currency of our own song.

How many times, in our history, have we been known nationally for our own song?

It was a stark reminder why the Premier League isn’t a fun place to be.

Getting smashed at home by a team worth hundreds of millions more, whilst some plastic fans from the home counties do their best impression of actual football fans and goad you all night.

Were you alluding to the fact they have to rent as they cannot afford their own house like a lot of northerners?
Can anyone afford their own house nowadays?

Anyway....

Hopefully the hate crime police don't move up to Glasgow for the 8th March Scottish Cup showdown between Rangers and Celtic...There'll be an empty stadium if people are systematically removed for naughty banter!!!

I agree with Bamberbloo or whatever. Pandur, Hughes, Crooks and McBurnie. You can draw a straight line of '****s' missing through our centre tonight. I'll never understand our defending at corners? Ignore what the **** next to you is doing. There is one ball. Keep your eye on it, and head the ****er.
Spot on

Storm in a teacup on par with the 'town full of bombers' chant supposedly heard against QPR a few seasons back. Chelsea fans gave it loads last night, none of it complimentary, all the usual stuff about Hull being a ****hole, paying our benefits, etc etc. Nothing we have not heard a thousand times before, and they got a lot back as they expected. I never saw or heard of anyone being offended. We must have someone at City with exceptionally keen hearing to pick up on all of this, or is it a case of someone looking for a reason to be offended and an opportunity to show their authority?
Why is poverty chanting and classism more acceptable than homophobia, really? Did Chelsea put out a statement before the game reminding them not to make classist chants? Will food banks and charities in Hull put out statements condemning Chelsea supporters like Chelsea Pride did to us? Will the New York Times pick it up?

It’s pure hypocrisy.

Yes this is something I don't quite get.. there's been a lot of backlash against poverty chanting recently and yet nothing about this?
