Surprised it’s a three-year extension but he was always going to renew. Three-year extension would’ve made more sense for Slater.
Interesting he said in the interview he’s ‘proud to play for the club where I’m from’ rather than ‘club I support’. It’s been mentioned before but is it confirmed he’s a Leeds fan?
Not sure why anyone's surprised when acun has spoken very openly about wanting coyle to finish his career here so it was always going to be a longish deal. Suspect it's at a lowish wage which offsets the security of the deal. I'm sure the intention is he'll be phased to a squad player over those three years.
He’d have obviously been a back up anywayWhy?
Must be cheap because IF we did go up he wont get a game, and if we don't go up we need better.
He was in Leeds academy as a youth and made a handful of appearances for them.Surprised it’s a three-year extension but he was always going to renew. Three-year extension would’ve made more sense for Slater.
