People that generalise piss me off, it's like me saying all muslims are suicide bombers.
No it isn't - he said typical, not average.

I can't be bothered to read through the rest of this pathetic excuse for a thread to see if anyone else has said this, but this is the biggest pile of bollocks I've seen.
I've met John a couple of times, and he's a genuine, lovely bloke with a huge passion for his club. The reason he looks in such a bloody state on matchdays is because he's piss drunk!! Outside of Pompey, he's a really polite person, hell, he even is at games when he's swaying!
lol he would be pleased to hear you saying that you have to be rat arssed to watch Pompey, but most of thought that way for some time!

Enough of this you plonkers. JW's football persona is a living parody of a football fan taken to the extreme, that's all. Outside of football he is a quiet, softly spoken gentle guy. He is an acknowledged expert in antiquarian books and runs his family shop in Petersfield as he has done for the best part of 30 years now. He loves his club and his beer, that's about it really. Oh, and he really winds a lot of you buggers up big time.![]()
I'm one of a kind. It's still generalising to a extent, he is saying adam conforms to a type of a young guy. I have never seen a guy like adam before![]()
How many languages do you speak? You are dull and vapid as I have stated before...and there are plenty like you around.

Aha way to twist my words... top notch tit, you.
As I said above, everyone is entitled to their opinions.
Obviously if you know him and have spoken to him then you will know a greater deal than someone who hasn't.
Personally the only time I have ever seen him is drunk at football matches waving his bell around (but not in that way).
So to me personally he comes across as a bit of an idiot, but I will respect people that have spoken to him and acknowledge their opinions.
And the opinions I am seeing is that some regard him as a very nice bloke who has a passion for his local team, which I would not condemn.![]()

Yeah,I completly agree with you mate.If we had such a freak of a supporter I'd be really embarrased and sad.If he was a Saints fan dressing up the way he does in red and white, I'd be embarrased that our entire fan base was epitomised by this "freak"!! It's one thing being passionate about your team, but he has taken it way, way too far. It may come as a surprise to some, but there's more to life than football (not much, I'll grant you).
And, if his behaviour is a result of him being p****d, what are P****y doing letting him the ground. If a saints fan had turned as drunk as him you can be damn sure they wouldn't have in.
