My issue is that, on a phone, it's difficult to go backwards & forwards in a particular thread.
Alerts seem to come and go as well ...
... and searching for a word or phrase has become a waste of time, it takes you to threads from the olden days.

Totally agree....it's not a patch on the old one. I haven't been able to get in several times in recent weeks.....I assume it's the same for everyone?
