Umm, I guess kinda. Where I grew up in Memphis we didn't have an NFL team so, ya I guess I keep an eye out on how they do and try to get to the odd game ( ticket prices are crazy for NFL games). Bengals and playoffs are like sticking your dick in a glory hole, you never know what you are going to get! They are so prone to drop the odd clanger that just dashes all hopes.
Pretty positive he is an AM that likes ro roam around a bit, he also has Aimar in there to roam with along with Wetsel I believe. I think all three rotate but I see Gaitan as an AM.
I thought he was an Ashley Young type. One who can play out wide or off the striker. I don't think he's really what they need, though.
I think this is because the way we now do business. there is no point trying to link us with anyone because you just don't know. with sides like Newcastle, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, etc you can guage the type of player to link them with because you have a rough idea of their budget, wage structure and players they need while with Liverpool you don't. no-one knows our transfer kitty, budget or the sort of players we're after. at the moment it may seem that we're only after youngsters (under 20) but who knows, I think the good times will really come if we can re-acheive constant champions league qualiforcation and start building our new stadium. Players will then find it extremely difficult to think of a reason not to join us
My cousin has told me that Luuk De Jong is attending the match on boxing day. Anyone know much about this/him? I thought he meant Nigel De Jong at first...but he is a striker from FC Twente.
One rumour on the Liverpool website today... Source: http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...89/liverpool-eye-colombian-suarez-replacement Thoughts?
Not sure why we'd go for a 26 year old with 6 in 15 in the Argentine League when we could actually get far better/younger in the PL alone.
Hmmm interesting possibility, FW - German Denis (Atalanta) Perhaps the most surprising name on the list, the Atalanta striker has bagged more than 50% of his team's goals and helped them overcome the six-point penalty with which they began the season. Vital to the Bergamo side's push to stay in Serie A, he leads the league in scoring despite never previously having reached double figures on the peninsula.
And sprinkle with a dash of salt.. http://www.clickliverpool.com/sport...uiry-for-aston-villa-striker-darren-bent.html
We need a fox in the box but I'm not sure we need him.. Doesn't stay too long at a club.. Closer to 30 than 25 and Not sure he fits in FSGs moneyball philosophy
Not entirely. I mean in that film (and I assume in real life) they were buying quite a few old players, so they didn't have the 'young potential' model we seem to use, albeit they had less money. I think we use stats to guide us towards certain players, and they pick targets from there. Sometimes it means targeting the less 'flashy' player because his stats are better, even if it doesn't appear so.
What about Nathan Redmond at Birmingham City? I've watched him a few times this season and he has impressed me every time. He's a very quick right winger but seems quite mature for his age and is certainly someone to look out for in the future. There aren't very many videos of him on YouTube as he is only 17. Young striker, very good technically. Excellent finisher. Think we've been linked with both him and his brother (Siem) too. Both highly rated, but the prevailing opinion is that Luuk is the better all round player. I'm sure Dirk will recommend him to Kenny if he rates him.
