He was on the bench at both Bradford and the Orient game, but BBM sent Fish on to make up that back 5 at Bradford and he was unused at Orient.

I may be cynical, but just being on the bench and not getting on the pitch complies with any tentative agreement.
Could well be a smoke screen.

Hope we've got a 'loan back' clause in there.

Hde was never our "cover for Salech" - never in a million years.

Agree the position nees to be addressed, but I'd rather have a left back and wide pacey winger
It took a while for BBM to 'adapt' to what Salech needed. His supply for the second 12 games has been better than for the first 12, and it shows in his goals.
Given the style of play we have, its disappointing that we havent got a plan 'B' that serves Robinson better.
The more physical side of Salech for 70 mins, with 20+ minutes of Robinson slid down the channels / fed on the 6 yd line would give L1 defenses nightmares.

If we go up, BBM needs to think.
If he cant get the best out of Robinson, maybe it would be time for Robinson to leave and allow us to sign a Salech 2.0.

I thought you’d have gathered I wasn’t being serious

My concern as stated here on and on is BBM needs decent cover of Salech is injured. He’s a pivotal part of the team.

I’ve also if you’ve noticed also been banging the drum for a quick goal scoring winger plus cover for LB

So we agree on something? <laugh>

Being "not serious" is not something I've associated with you in the past, but I'll be more observant in the future......<whistle>

Well if they can pull it off to sign Kelly N mai they have got a player who can win games by himself. How he has not been snapped before now beggers belief.

Kelly N'Mai anyone?
Mai be.... Mai B not????

Gotta love a stat or two...

4 goals from 8 on target.... 25 shots overall, not bad for someone who is predominantly a winger? 13 goals + assists last season... my only concern would be that if he is a winger then 6 assists in 48 isn't setting the world alight is it?? Kpakio has 6 for this year already..

That's from some oik who is just a City supporter with no connection to the club guessing at the figure in his opinion it would take to get him.

The Blades have looked at Ashford before and that's the basis of his assumption. City haven't even discussed his departure let alone quoted a figure.

Ive got mixed feelings about him and Davies.
Both reliable players who have made solid contributions this season, but neither have really kicked on and made themselves undroppable. Quite a few players in that bracket.
Both great players to have in the squad though.
I think £6M would be hard to turn down.

BBM's desire for a small, tight knit, squad does cause a few issues. And will do again next season.
You could see how Giles' loan could help elevate him to the 1st team next year, but if we sign another LB along side Bagan, will there be space for him? Same for Dak in a congested midfield.
Maybe it is prudent to allow a couple players to leave to create some headroom.
I'd rather us not introduce risk to our promotion push though. Maybe the summer is the time for a re-jig, not now.
£6M is a healthy wedge though amd Tanner's return helps mitigate the risk.
