Still a game we should have won though. With 20-25 minutes to go some freh legs were needed, and CP really needs to look at his use of substitutes(or not).
Ephraim shows the problem of signing non match fit players, he's basically getting fit while playing for us, and because he wans't allowed to play in the FA Cup and presumably the friendly reserve games, the only games he's playing are the crucial league games!
They didn't think it through, most people had gone to get their food and drink. Cringeworthy it was. I assume we have a replacement drummer? We'll find out next home game I suppose.
The North Stand drummer is moving to New Zealand, and this was his last game, so he came onto the pitch and tried to get a rendition of 'CAFC CAFC' going, but no-one sang along.
Highlight for me was the beautiful tribute to Peter Croker - excellently observed by Oldham fans as well. MOM was Kermit. Heroic. What got me was that Oldham's goal was a carbon-copy of the chance they spurned just moments before. Lessons to be learnt. Two draws are not great, but they are not losses, and our unbeaten run continues. Next match: Russell and Ephraim out. Waggy and Pritchard in.
For some time the north stand mike wasn't working so you could hardly hear what the announcer was saying.
