Think this result might be the one that fully cuts the bottom 3 adrift - think Dyche* has enough to get forest out of the mire and I can't imagine West Ham catching Leeds unless they implode

* edited to reflect the fact I was months out of date for a moment..

I'm not sure if Nuno survives that loss. Just one point taken from a set of four very promising fixtures. And now a mini-break (from league action) gives them scope to make a change.

Maybe JWP will have a future at West Ham after all.

KWP could be on for three PL relegations in four seasons.

If they go down who will be the longest serving outside of the 6 PL ever presents? West Ham obviously came up with us in 2012.

Palace?

Yeah Palace went up the season after us.

But the answer is Man City.

Let's see what happens if United prise Glasner away end of this season. If not them, suspect someone will.

Yeah I can see them struggling when he leaves too. They've had a few occasions when they started to look a bit dodgy but always had either a superstar or a solid manager appointment.

I don't see any promoted sides doing particularly well next season mind.

That's some fine cherry picking. What about all the other seasons? He played 31 times the season we sold him, and well over 100 Prem games since. Practically an ever-present for four seasons.

(Sorry for late response)
Like I said, a functional decent player but we didn't let some world beater go. If we signed him back at the start of last season would there have been much fanfare for example?

With both him and Targett they have proven now they are toward the end of their careers that they have been solid enough mid table players in the PL. Which when we sold them we were as a club, maybe with higher aspirations. They wanted to play more regularly when they left and we couldn’t give that to them at the time. Sure some of the replacements we signed weren’t as good but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. I’m sure at the time selling Reed and bringing in Lemina seemed like a no brainer from a talent perspective, but yeah hindsight is a wonderful thing

Who knows what would have happened if they’d stayed, maybe they wouldn’t have got as much playing time as they did after leaving and not developed into the players they became. It’s a pointless conversation really as there are too many what ifs to take into account
