To be fair, he’s already $16K deep before he’s even bought a ticket. You must log in or register to see media
From the BBC ‘Take Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the world. The average wage in the Caribbean nation is around $147 (£110) a month.
The cheapest tickets for Haiti's first game at the World Cup in 42 years, against Scotland, cost $180 (£135).
To attend all three matches - they also play Brazil and Morocco - would cost $625 (£467). That's more than four months' salary for the average Haitian, just to get into the ground.’
I feel like people are trying to sensationalise this now, a flight from Haiti to New York would cost 4 to 10 months wages alone, so you could give tickets away for free and it would still be unaffordable.
Unfortunately not every can afford to go to a World Cup, it’s one of the biggest sporting events in the world and demand is high, it’s going to be expensive. The US have always been leaders in the commercialisation of sport, they’re not going to change course for one event.
That cos they eat all the dogs…or cats…or elephants or summat.Haitians are banned from Nu Facist 'Merica so cost of tickets and travel is fairly irrelevant.

I have been to most world cups since the 90's and mostly, tickets have been reasonable. This is just crazy and prices out 95% of fans. I won't be going. I paid about £450 for the England v Italy euro final but the thought of paying 10 times that f
or this final is madness. The cost of tickets for all games and flights and accommodation will pay for my holidays for the next 5 years at least.
A few on here may struggle. When I first retired, I was looking for some supplementary work and applied to an agency. As part of their vetting, I had to use a third party to obtain a risk assessment which I would then submit it. I can’t recall the actual wording, but I was deemed to be high risk around hate crime, threatening content and abusive language. It picked out comments of concern, which were all Allam related some in his response to his ‘we can go and die’.Saw that US may start a requirement that they want to see 5 years of your social media posts before they allow people to enter, which is the sort of thing a totally sane and normal country would do... I doubt they'll manage to implement that before the World Cup though. (or ever...)
It wasn’t for a job at Allamhouse was it?A few on here may struggle. When I first retired, I was looking for some supplementary work and applied to an agency. I didn’t pursue the application because they didn’t pay well, but I doubt they could have employed me.
Surely not? There’ll be no one there just like there wasn’t at the last world cups and the euros5 million ticket applications so far, apparently.
It was the video footage of you hiding in the bushes near his house which was the issue!A few on here may struggle. This sounds like a Trump quote i.e. totally made up5 million ticket applications so far, apparently.
No, it'd have "the greatest amount ever" in there as well. This sounds like a Trump quote i.e. totally made up
