I thought City were superb on and off the ball last night. Joel Colwill is not a No.10, but we're not missing his brother in that role. Wintle, Robertson/Turnbull have taken control of the midfield and it's becomeing more stable rather than "flair".

Been critical of Wintle on times in the past for the "less than colourful" impression he displays, but he's become fundamental in front of the back 4. Last night was no different though it took a bit of "flair" from Robbo to win the game and the three points rather than one.

Very good mix of talent and tactics being displayed by both management and players which augurs well for the rest of the season.

Whilst taking nothing away from our performance, I will add I though Stevenage were very poor and one dimensional.

On that showing and the odd occasion I've watched their games this season on the box, how the hell they're advocated for promotion I don't know.

We play them again in a few weeks. Wonder if they’ll play park the bus again.<whistle>

Not knocking Stevenage but the crowd was 4420 odd, and 1350 of those were away fans.
Does that include the ones who turned back because of traffic problems? I'm not sure if City fans have to pay for tickets before leaving Wales for all away matches or just for matches deemed as 'bubble' by the Old Bill<confused>

BT paid when booking his tickets. No right of refund unless the club feel generous. Don't hold your breath BT. <whistle>

Going back to the game, Bagan had another cracking game. He is becoming indispensable at LB. I think he’s on 4 yellows so he needs to discipline himself until the cut off date.

He's only got one match to negotiate to avoid a one match ban - the amnesty comes after the 19th game of the season.

It then reverts to the 10 yellow card level for a ban up to the 37th game in which case it reverts to a 2 match ban.

Interestingly enough, if he picked up a yellow against Doncaster to get to 5, he'd still be eligible for the Chelsea game in the Carabao.

That’s good to know; thought it might have been halfway point after 23 games. He’d miss Lincoln away if he’s carded. I’m sure BBM will make him aware.

He's got a good engine on him, fair play. Plays with his head up as well. Always scanning when he get to the bye line.
As I said in another thread, more overlap than underlap which is paying dividends. For Salech in particular.
He's got end product as well.
Also seems diligent with his defensive duties.

Quietly turning in to some players. Up there with Ng in his pomp. As good a LB as we've had in some time.
