Another Jason Lokilo, or Adamo Traroe.....Plenty of bling, but the veneer soon wears off..Far better than Akintola, but who aint? Not sure who told City he was a decent baller

The thing is the championship is a mans league. All these under 23s or whatever they are, only have experience in fancy footwork and wearing their shorts halfway down their arse. And Guardiola' style of play is so boring.

Aye famously no under 23s have ever done well at this level.

Bowen, KLP, Greaves and Hughes prime examples for us.

That's a bit harsh and untrue. I've watched a few of our U23 games. I've seen Destan get bullied by oppo CBs, Coyle get outmuscled, and more. Of course it's a step up to senior level but your description does not match what I've seen. The power, pace, strength and skill of most of these lads is impressive, especially when you watch it close up, literally from the touchline.

hes still on his weird tangent that people DARE predict a city win

perculiar

I rate Ndala to be honest. I think he could do with a start some time soon, but then who do you drop? Destan doesn't give as much energy as Joseph up top, but then he's got a good header on him and he looks a better finisher so that's a conundrum in itself. You kind of need Joseph's energy somewhere if he's not up top and Gelhardt is going nowhere soon either.

The funny thing is if we lose this and struggle over the next few the same people that rubbished all those xG tables that suggested we'd been riding our luck will be searching for answers to why the sudden dip in form.
Completely agree. Opposition have averaged 16 attempts at our goal (peaking at 26/28 ffs) that we've somehow managed to overcome by outscoring them and I'm wondering if we've hit our high water mark. With Ipswich, Stoke and Boro next it just feels that we might be running out of luck and steam, especially with our never-ending run of injuries to key players. And on that subject, does anyone actually know what McBurnie's injury is? He came off with a tight calf against Brum as 'a precaution' and since then his return keeps being put back (now not available for Stoke). Just feels a bit weird.

The last thing we needed on Saturday was Crooks making sure he got his 5th booking so he could do a bit of early Christmas shopping.

Those attempts are they inside or outside the box?

Think we have received a sizeable bid for him from what I’ve heard today.

I knew that was coming but you know what I mean. Surely? Don't think they came to us from a premier league outfit that hoovers up all the young 'talent'. I rest my case.

Got his yellow card 90 seconds from the end of the game. Maybe that's what the arguing when we had the free kick was about.

Anyway since he injured his shoulder he has been a bit off it, problem is we're running out of replacements.

Ndala is a good player. Occasionally he keeps the ball too long, rather than picking the right pass, and so gets dispossessed. I guess he needs to be more consistent. Blows a bit hot and cold. But Ndala, Joseph, Gelhardt, would be my preferred top 3 against Ipswich.
Ndala looked more like the player from early season when he came on on Saturday. Can't possibly leave Destan out when he's scored in the only two matches he's started.
