It's the same **** redressed... Percentage based so nothing will change it's still anti competitive... Clubs can spend more than others.
It allows the PL to instantly sanction clubs, so clubs can't front load money and try and tidy it up over 3 years.

Initially, more interested in which Clubs voted which way. That would potentially be a starting point as to which Clubs are likely to benefit and which are not.
The likes of Brighton, Brentford, Leeds, voted no.
Ultimately if it's percentage based in relation to revenue its the same thing at it's core.
Those with major or US backing said yes.

They still haven’t ratified that deal so there’s going to be huge huge pressure on the PL to hit Chelsea somehow.
It's how football is decided... Off the pitch and Newcastle are just part of the same ****... 7th highest revenue so quite happy with the rules, which allowed them to look after their own advantages. This is why Newcastle don't fight against it, because it protects them.
Everything that happens on the pitch is a charade. What we take in is a manufactured competition, a fake sporting contest.
Football is decided by financial rules off the pitch and no matter how they redress it, that's what it's about.

I'm not so much focussed on Newcastle, but the sport in general is horseshit being spooned out to us all.
Yeah, that's fair enough mate.
They'll rinse this until eventually everyone is bored of it and then they'll come out saying football is sick so we need a super league.
How about they just go back to football the way it was before they made it sick with their rules.
Interesting to read this, so have I understood this correctly and that effectively this means that clubs can basically just buy their way out of trouble now if they break the PSR rules ?

We need to get Tottenham relegated to help swing a vote in our direction, however this doesn't mention how things would be settled.
I suspect it will be along the lines of the PL saying take X amount of points now or risk higher if found guilty.
Kinda like the way busys deal with a Drunk and disorderly arrest.
Maybe one of the "big 6" is more in the mud than they thought and need a new loophole.
