Clubs have voted 12-7 in favour of the new PSR.
I'm feeling ill so can anyone summarise the pros and cons for Newcastle?

Initially, more interested in which Clubs voted which way. That would potentially be a starting point as to which Clubs are likely to benefit and which are not.Clubs have voted 12-7 in favour of the new PSR.

So the American owned clubs voted for?
So clubs can no longer sell assets like hotels and women's teams to assocuated parties for the purpose of recording revenue. So just let Chelski do it and then bolt the door behind them. Cool.
But anchoring to the value of the lowest club's revenue was voted against (7 votes for vs 12 against and 1 club abstained).
We wouldn't have wanted the anchoring rule, so that was a win. It's how football is decided... Off the pitch and Newcastle are just part of the same ****... 7th highest revenue so quite happy with the rules, which allowed them to look after their own advantages. This is why Newcastle don't fight against it, because it protects them.
Everything that happens on the pitch is a charade. What we take in is a manufactured competition, a fake sporting contest.
Football is decided by financial rules off the pitch and no matter how they redress it, that's what it's about.

Yeah, that's fair enough mate.I'm not so much focussed on Newcastle, but the sport in general is horseshit being spooned out to us all.
Yeah, that's fair enough mate.![]()
Interesting to read this, so have I understood this correctly and that effectively this means that clubs can basically just buy their way out of trouble now if they break the PSR rules ?
