I'm just sitting back and taking in what’s happened in the last few weeks, lads . . . .
Wolves (H)
Chelsea (A)
Everton (H)
Arsenal (H)
How many points out of 12 would you have taken ?
We’ve taken 8 . . . . undefeated.
Next up:
Fulham (A) won’t be easy, but again I fancy us. Then Bournemouth at home, which will be tough, but we’ll win that. Then Liverpool, 'City and a small club up the road from us.
I don’t fear anyone :emoticon-0148-yes:
But we haven’t played anyone yet

Sunderland - and I say this as a massive compliment - are a horrible side to play against. They are almost a throwback to a bygone era but they are so effective. Huge point for them against Arsenal and they roughed up and rattled the league leaders throughout [HASHTAG]#safc[/HASHTAG]

Apparently not <whistle>
Haway Smug, would you like to play up front against them absolute beasts, to a man all big horrible bastards, the best defence we’ve had in my lifetime. They are horrible to play against because they are big, strong, quick and agile.
However, those are qualities of the best defenders in the league at the moment so I’m happy to be horrible to play against.

Home now and this team never cease to amazed me. What a battle what a point fully deserved. Ballard immense what a block at the end . Quick shout to Regis triple sub gave us momentum again when it looked like we might lose it. Absolutely awesome so proud of everyone of them and also hardly any early leavers. Haway the lads.

I played low level football, like no doubt a lot on here, for yonks, and I was shyte.

But if I'd been a proper footballer, that is the type of team I'd want to play for.

I absolutely love watching them, they just never let you down, and I was thinking that at 1-2.

Arsenal were different level for twenty five or so in the second half, zipping the ball around in tight areas, great movement and intent. Seriously impressive . First time this season I've thought we looked to be struggling badly.

But, we just won't let it go......!

Been a long time since I checked in here but just enjoy the journey lads, the safe ownership hands we are in made this happen and a brilliant manager who I beleive will manage the French national team one day.. I'm having my 2nd triple bypass operation on Monday, this one's a bit more serious so I'll send my best wishes to you all for the last 14 years, keep smiling and be happy the lot of you..

That is such a poor comment by the Mag Lover- Arteta and Arsenal have been much more complimentary

What throwback are we by the way and to whom?

That's an absolute joke! The word horrible is so misplaced in that sentence as to be completely ****ing ridiculous.

We're not 80s Wimbledon, they were genuinely horrible to play against. Having a plan doesn’t fit in that context. We will set up against certain teams to counteract their strengths and occasionally that means we invite them on to a degree, but everyone in our team can play. Really, really play. They're all fast and positive. When we had the ball today we weren't shy at all, we looked great. It's been a Reggie master class, end of.

Bloody international break ruining the vibes
Hate them but this season it's given Reg time to reset....Alderette will be fit, Reg will be given time to sort out tactics through to the Xmas bash.
We've got half our points to get us safe and the next phase whilst on paper is difficult but just like today I can see us regularly picking up those most important points. Keep the faith ....these lads are the real deal.
