Completely bemused as to why Trump and the Republicans are going off at this new mayor of New York.

Understand he's a democrat and a muslim, which they hate, but they didn't even field a viable candidate. It was some mentalist in a red beret, if you want to complain, put someone forward that people can actually vote for.

It’s been all over my Twitter page as if it’s incredibly important and will hugely impact Murica and the world. What’s the bloke actually got the power to do? Get the bins collected on time?

Trump hating the guy so badly probably tells you he's a good egg.

But yeah, proper little bitch fest about the guy.

After a meeting with our accountant, its becoming evident the new NI rules that came into force last April are killing small businesses.. As a business we're paying nearly double in contributions compared to this time last year, that money as to come from somewhere, so all our prices have gone up like most business have had to do.
Unfortunately he as lost customers that have folded in the last 3 months as theyre unable to continue, most having between 10 and 30 employees. Surely if this continues, unemployment as got to rise, costing the country more in benefits.

Same story right across the country, especially in hospitality and retail. I'm dreading what the November budget is going to bring. What surprises me more is that the media have hardly spoke about it and kept track of the numbers closing. They want people in work but their measures are making people out of work. We can be sure of one thing though, no politician will be feeling the harshness of this current financial climate with there rented second homes. Thankfully interest rates got held today, not that it even affects me, and chat that the rates could come down in December in time for the Christmas shop, but surely a lot of that will depend on what Rachel does next and lots of businesses are probably very nervous right now.

Always classed myself as open minded and non-prejudicial when it comes to an individual's sexual and gender orientation... - live and let live ...

... but this latest draconian insistence on universal inclusivity with initiatives like 'pregnant people' and 'chest feeding' is just riduculous, unnecessary, woke nonsense IMHO...

Pregnant people, the autocue said. The presenter added, 'that's women'. Someone complained about her, the complaint was upheld.

A live example of actual woke nonsense which, it turns out, really does exist in some quarters. To the Daily Mail and the flagshaggers on twatter etc., this symbolises the end of civilisation as we know it

It's a thing. It's not much of a thing, but you can find examples of wording on documents, public statements etc., being changed from ''men and women to 'people'.

I've just read a bit more about this story.

The whole 'people' thing is just designed to be a bit more inclusive for non binary people. I think the terms in most common place use are going to be interchangeable. Men, Women, People

I don't see it as a big deal at all. If you want to call a woman a woman, nothing is stopping you.

There will be plenty who will lose their **** over all of this though and claim the world is going to explode as result.

Meanwhile, most people will just get on with their lives.
