Maybe I'm misunderstanding but has Saf moved to Jamaica?

Or is it just a holiday?

Holiday as far as i am aware (thread name) but if i understand it saf isn't tied down to things like a job and hes had a great time and made some connections here, metaphorically and probably physically.

Could be his calling this community and humanitarian malarkey. I reckon he stays for a bit unless it gets dangerous

Went here today. Been so busy recently so hardly been on. Love this view which is easily accessible. Only thing missing is there's normally way more lights.

Had this for lunch today. A shenzhen delicacy. Coconut chicken. Not normally a fan of coconut itself but with the flesh boiled in water alongside some chicken oozing with juices and some soy/sauce fresh lime chilli and garlic side condiment it was beautiful. Can drink the soup as well

Sounds good looks terrible.

Booked for next year, going to Cascais near Lisbon.

Was a bit sad not booking the ferry/campsites configuration we've done for the last decade with the MoHo.

Kids growing up and that, I will definitely miss that type of trip.

Got an Air BnB apartment booked in the middle of the town, two minute walk to the beaches, restaurants everywhere, fifteen minutes on the train back to Lisbon and, more importantly, five decent golf courses to choose from that me and my son can disappear to for the day (or two).

Got winter week to Italy in February in the meantime though. Almost literally can't wait for that, best week of the year.

Is cascais really 15 minutes from Lisbon? I seem to remember it being like 45 mins away when i went last year.

Anyway some pics of the last few days

Loving the tortoise, he's huge, looks like two joined as one (cut & shut) lol. It will probably out live all of us.

Fantastic pictures as always.

When I've been it wasn't 45 mins in the taxi from the airport to Cascais.

I took a punt on how long the train would take, but it’s only four or five stops.
