I've seen city play at the Baseball Ground, but can't remember anything about it. I may have been tired and emotional.
A George Brown type tired and emotional?

That's the one.A George Brown type tired and emotional?
I posted something very similar a couple of weeks ago. For the last 20 years we've spent a quarter of that time in the PL but to hear these twats talking we're a lower league club. Actually pisses me off.One of my favourite things about supporting City is that everyone thinks we're ****. Doesn't matter what league we're in, where we are in the table, what run of form we're on, who's playing, we're **** and we're gonna lose. And when we win it really pisses opposition fans off and that makes it extra special. The number of managers sacked after losing to 'little old Hull' is hilarious to me. I love it.
Perhaps I'm over thinking this, but I wonder if he was really going to miss the game wouldn't they keep quiet about it so Derby can carry on planning how to defend against him? Perhaps that's just a triumph of hope over expectation. We could be in bother here, it looks like Gelhardt‘s out as well.

Running out of options.
Dramah could come in or Gyabi.
Or Destan and move Ndala/Joseph to the right.
I guess it would be seen as too risky to get Brown or Williams involved from the off.
Yeah, I remember that one. Remember bricks flying also. The police horses were not very happy.I saw us lose 3-1 there in October ‘84, I remember it being the loudest and most intimidating atmosphere I ever experienced. After the game my missus nearly got trampled by police horses, bloody coppers treated everyone as a hooligan back then and the riders just kept shouting move move even when we had nowhere to go.
Think 5 at the back suits the players we have available. Neither Ndelap nor Akintola are in any kind of form or deserving of a place in the starting 11 currently, so it makes no sense to play a system utilising wingers, but without any wingers.
Thats the kind of thing our previous few managers would have done.
I know, it all seems a bit grim but others have scored this season, Slater, Akintola, Crooks, Gyabi, Joseph, Egan, Lundstram, so all isn't necessarily lost. I'm more bothered about the loss of fluency in our play when we have to chop and change all the time. Let's see what rabbits Sergey can pull out of the hat this time! Not letting my heart rule my head here, if Gelhardt is out do we really have a goal threat , Every point we gain whilst some of the injured come back is a bonus. A draw in our situation especially with winning at Norwich would be a great point to me.
I think the players have been magnificent overall considering the situation and you can never rule us out of any game, however we have so much talent unavailable it’s frustrating. Hopefully a few will be back after the international break to help.I know, it all seems a bit grim but others have scored this season, Slater, Akintola, Crooks, Gyabi, Joseph, Egan, Lundstram, so all isn't necessarily lost. What are you basing this on?
Holden's comments make it sound like he's fine and is a bit of a mind game.
Several twitter accounts now posting he's a doubt on the back of it make it sound worse, but that seems completely unnecessary to me.
