Nottingham Forest Football Club wishes to express its deepest concern and heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by the shocking attack on an LNER train bound for London yesterday evening.

Many of our London-based supporters were travelling home on that train following our match at the City Ground, and our thoughts are very much with everyone caught up in such a distressing incident.

The Club is aware that many individuals demonstrated extraordinary bravery which undoubtedly helped prevent even greater harm. The entire Nottingham Forest family stands firmly behind them as they recover from the events of yesterday.

Evangelos Marinakis, Nottingham Forest’s owner, said:

“Everyone at Nottingham Forest is shocked and deeply saddened by what happened. The courage and selflessness shown by our supporters on that train represents the very best of humanity and the very best of our club’s community.

“We will make sure any supporter caught up in this incident receives whatever financial support they require to enable them to access the best possible medical care as they recover. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.”

Seems like one person now suspected and not 2 perpetrators.

It looks like it will be a mental health issue. He was shouting remarks about Jesus and ridding evil.

Shocked to learn that he is alleges to have been involved un another stabbing.

The second arrest was of another individual who was totally innocent.

He’s been linked with a spree of stabbings prior to this incident, I’ve not heard any of them have been fatal which is a small mercy.
He was of no fixed abode, so I’m afraid we’ll likely hear how he slipped through the cracks of various institutions

In court today he said his address was "no fixed abode" so speculating a little on your second point, but going with "no".

Rachel from accounts delivering her pre budget speech to prepare us all for the impending tax increases.
Once this labour cabinet pay up their debts we should be a lot closer to clearing this economic black hole

If Reeves was a man you wouldn’t make such sexist comments, I’m sure, but thank you for your input.

So it looks like taxes are going up.

I think this is a really bad mistake by Labour and plays into the hands of people like Reform. They cite the misdemeanors of the previous government and Brexshit, but surely they 'sold' us in their manifesto no tax rises and their issues were known at the time of the election and foreseeable.

I get that there is no money tree and we have to get it form somewhere, but to get elected on the promise that they wont raise taxes is not only unpopular, but political suicide surely.
