Can anyone still believe we have players of this calibre at our club now. Still blows my mind on a daily basis.

Hope his hammy is ok, thought he was good when he played, resllly think he can step up. Probably going to need him in thr next two month.

 

I love walking in pubs around Teesside with my top on. The amount of stares and glares i get makes me feel a million dollars

 

Makes me laugh that despite the stares and me staring back no one has the balls to say anything.

 

After today's results Sunderland are top six and, if things go our way, can be second in the Premier League.

We have a home game against an Everton team in poor form ...

... Sunderland look confident and competent.

A repeat of the West Ham result and it gets really serious.

We should be expecting the mags to get 5 or 6 tomorrow against West Ham, they keep telling us they were totally s hit and a crap team when we played them.

 

10 years ago today Everton battered us 6-2 and it could’ve easily been double figures, the defence was shambolic that day. Thankfully the lads we’ve got now love defending and are pretty good at it too

Well if Bournemouth don’t win , we can look to 2nd with our win. Then it’s on to a title 6 pointer with Arsenal , Sky TV choice.

title decider next week against Arsenal ! i reckon we will give them a game, first though Everton and should be a 2-0 win

 

Confidence is difficult for a Sunderland supporter. I still think this will be a tough game and when we score first it should open up.
The reason for this is simple Everton can not really afford to lose so I think they will set up defensively and with a low block which we will have to get through. However week by week we have looked more and more capable of breaking teams down, and once we score they can not sit low and will have to try and get something which makes me believe we will score again.
Basically if we score first I think we win.

 

That away top is one of my favourites. I love my new Vaux retro home one as well.

I actually think Everton will be pleased to get a draw tomorrow, which in itself is a testament to how well we have started the season.

An early goal from us and I can see us picking them off on the counter, there defence isnt the quickest amd we have pace in abundance.

 

These games can bite you on the arse look at the Forest game yesterday.
A win would be great but my mind says just don't lose.
Keep the points ticking over.
