Im sick of this ****.... I was unaware. They've made office and then go bat **** crazy...
Just caught up with the news.
For there position in the government these seem to know very little, anyway you can kiss her/him goodbye now, just a matter of time.
I didn’t know I needed one it’s the estate agents fault.
Angela tried that one Rachel, did you not see how that one turned out.
Bloody shower.

Newsnight explained the difference between the two. It is significant. I think she'll survive this one. Sir Laurie Magnus, the ethics advisor who felled Raynor, had judged that further investigation was not necessary given Reeves' swift action and apology, Sir Keir said.

Does that mean the Estate agent is expecting a huge fine?

Do you really believe an Estate agent who probably lets out 100s of properties in that area just happens to forgets to tell Rachel Reeves. I suppose it could be the same one who forgot to tell Raynor she owed £44,000 I suppose.<laugh><laugh>

Terrible. Sounded like a really nice bloke and actually trying to help. Imagine that happening. His poor family. I’d dare bet there’s some psychosis or mental illness going on here with the killer. The truth will come out in time.
This is why I can’t take you seriously, only a few posts back you are slating the rape by 2 white men who used racial language, rightfully so as well may I add.
Then here you are making suggestions that this scumbag who’s killed a white honest working class man on the streets for simply being a good person and your making excuses for his killer !!

That's incorrect. The estate agent told Raynor to seek advice, whereas Reeves agent said they'd inform her if a licence was required :emoticon-0148-yes:

Sorry mate I meant Raynor said it was the Estate agents fault as they didn’t tell her to seek advice.
Judging by where she is now I would say she was lying.
I believe the same about Reeves as well, she’s lying.

Equally though do you think she would take the risk of dodging it? I didn’t know this existed until it hit the news last night

I cant get too critical of an issue like this tbh. Pay the licence, top up fine to council, and move onto bigger problems is my thoughts.

But what I cant get away from is what seems to be complete incompetence by politicians. I dont think she was trying it on here by any means. But she hasnt done the basics any of us would do. It is just careless incompetence and it is that mentality that seeps into the day job in my experience. Dot the i's and cross the t's. Be responsible for your actions.

It isnt a Labour thing for me. It is a politics thing. It is almost like you land at Westminster and leave your own personal responsibility at the door. Or maybe the majority of MPs really are just incompetent.

Of course she wouldn't have done this deliberately .This will be an error. Pretty bad for someone in such a position, but still an error.

The trouble is that is still a breach of the law, however inadvertent. ( When by the way are errors NOT inadvertent?).Had it not been for Starmer's almighty grandstanding about "law makers can never be law makers" the the matter would be closed.

So the issue is did he mean what he said, or not? When and how did he change his mind? Any criminal offence means that the ministerial code has been broken. Does this apply to Reeves? If not why not?

Etc x 100.

This is a minor matter, but Starmer's boasting about being a man of the law and about how he would "restore integrity" to politics makes it otherwise.

It is actually him that is the problem here. He has enjoyed putting himself on a pedestal of standards that no one could live up to. Including him. He is hoist by his own petard

He'll be gone by this time next year .
