I was in the 10 games from the window camp - but that needed some visible steps forward - we've been lurching around in circles. I can't see how he keeps his job and I also can't see who we'd get that is actually going to fix this.

The really strange thing is Still hasn't looked to have utilised any of the methods which brought him relative success in France.

He apparently liked to use wingers and press high up the pitch. Even after signing wide players he doesn't play a formation with out and out wingers.

As for the pressing, it is non existant. The only pressing is from individuals rather than as a unit, which is the only way it works.

If/when Still is sacked, he will surely be full of regret over the way he has set his teams up.

Does anyone really have any faith that when they do decide to pull the plug, (and I'm still not convinced they'll do it yet), that we'll actually get in a manager that will be successful here? Really got to start turning on SR tbh. Considering they actually try and run a successful football club, they are incredibly and consistently inept at it. How many chances should they get to keep on ****ing it up whilst we continue to decay and sink?

I thought I was going to really like Still and have previously defended his right for a good long chance but one substitution decision has changed all of that. Inexplicable. He has to go and be replaced by literally anyone who doesn’t choose to take our best player off with a game in the balance

I do believe WS has been dealt a tough hand. Lack of striker has made things challenging with a squad that on paper (and a fan base believing that we ) should be winning more than we lose.

But he is making it more difficult for himself.

Formation - The teams who play best in back 3/5 formations have brilliant WBs and a ST. We have not got those.

Then today’s subs. Taking off one of your best attackers to put a fourth CB on and invite the pressure?! The nature of the goals conceded may be unlucky but I’m afraid WS put himself in a position to be unlucky there.

Now the qu Sri on is can a new manager do anything different? The lack of striker will remain an issue for anyone…

Bu for the first time I’m in the position where I’m no longer defending Still . If he goes, I’m okay with it .

Unfortunately the season is panning out how a thought it might go with a novice manager and a team with shattered confidence. Forget being progressive.
Get Allardyce in. He will organise, discipline and make us hard to beat. That would be a start. Given a contract to end of season, with a £2mm bonus to keep us up and £5mm to get us promoted. At the moment this is going one way. And the only team from Sheffield we will play will be Wednesday

I honestly couldn't care any less about Still. I don't care if he's in or out.

This **** will keep happening whilst SR are making the decisions.

How many of you will have faith in those clowns to get their SIXTH managerial appointment right?

In fairness you can't really argue Martin was a bad hire. He was hired to get us promoted and he did so at the first time of asking. Aside from that though, yeah, all dogshit.

I would very concerned about who SR would choose next. I wouldn't hold out hope on that front. But that's not a reason to stick with Still.

If someone could sack Still and SR together, that would be great. But we're currently stuck with SR, so I'll have to accept just the sacking of Still.
