Only problem I see with Newcastle signing him is his price tag will be more than he's actually worth. I'd say £8m-£9m is fair but if he leaves I'd expect it to be around £14m-£18m.

Wouldn't mind him TBH but doubt he'd move North of Manchester.
 
I was worried at the prospect of signing him when I thought the Hammers would get relegated, but even more so now that they are finding form and might stay up. If they survive it would probably add £5m to his price so we would get even worse value for money. Really don't rate him at all!

8-9 million for a player no better than Best is a rip off. I wouldn't pay anymore than 3 million
 
Ridiculously overrated and for some reason alway linked to top 4 sides, such an awful player. If he can score regularly, I still wouldnt pay more than 8 mil for him, isnt he 30 now?
 
Both him and Gervinho have been reported as being worth £10 million

I don't think he's worth much more than 4 or 5, given his age.
 
No.. 5m at most, even then I don't want him, would rather prefer a unknown prospect from Europe(Van Wolswinkel anyone??)

DOB Oct 12th 1983, aged 27

I don't paticularly like his all roubd ability but he does what strikers do and that score goals when presented with chances, very similar to Bent in this sense, £8m-£9m is fair, didn't say it was great but it's fair!

But like I said, I doubt he'd move north of Manchester, so I wouldn't worry if you don't like him.
