Bro I did say they were all vying to be Tumps favourite nodding dog, but Starmer is our leader, not Macron or Meloni, hence why Keir gets the criticism, much as you have alluded, the other leaders will be accountable to their populations. No one came out of it looking good. I mean Trump turning to Giorgia Meloni and kept on about her being beautiful, it's supposed to be a ****ing ceasefire deal not a beauty competition, but if you were to say anything you'd probably be accused of being woke.

Honestly, at this point I have accepted that the UK is just a US puppet and I am personally just happy that at least we do it the best out of the rest. I look at these other countries, Italy, France, Russia and they have no idea how the modern world is man, they pretend to be something, they're nothing- what the **** is Italy? It's a holiday destination.

Putin, he walks around sniffing Xi's farts.

The UK and Germany are the ones who knows what its all about, we know our place. Does anyone on here want our tax payers money going on troops standing about overseas pretending to do something, as Saf says, sell em guns and make bank.

We’ve always been a puppet to the US. I don’t believe we were always a laughing stock and looking this weak on the international stage to the rest of the world, though.

I agree with you, we need to stop getting involved in all these wars, because at a later date when they rock up at our shores, we get accused of what we did in the past. We've received no help whatsoever with these migrants, so we should be the same with other borders, protect them yourselves. We've tried reasonable, Keir has tried being the diplomat, and in return what did we get tariffs on steel. Some of the stuff the EU do, if it was Trump it would be called bullyboy tactics. I've no problem with a common market, but it shouldn't become the monopoly of Brussels. No more than we would accept supermarket monopolies on our shores, even though they like to push the boundaries. The world is just rife with greed at the moment, so maybe we need to start being that little more selfish.

I think some people like how certain Prime Ministers front themselves to the international media, with Thatcher and Blair being good at it.

But from 1950 - Thatcher we were particularly weak and a joke.

After Blair I think they've all tried but probably only Cameron came across as really sensible with Johnson being a bit of a meme.

It's also perspective, I think Farage no matter what will be a massive hated joke in Europe, but Yanks will ****ing love him. PMs who are popular in Europe sometimes get heat in America, Starmer is more liked in Europe than the US.

Whoa bro, Cameron's a **** because of him my retirement age went up, and @Archers Road ^ tell him Archie. :emoticon-0165-muscl

Whilst I’m not disagreeing with you, you have to also recognise that it’s Trump and no-one was going to steal his glory yesterday. It was only ever going to be what the US and in particular Trump achieved. I’m told that behind the scenes, representatives of the UK did play a significant part in getting parties around the table. Trump has a history of belittling people who he perceives will distract from him getting all the adulation.

I hope I’m wrong but I’m still not convinced this ceasefire will hold up. Reading this morning that Hamas have already reneged on releasing the dead bodies.

Problem is they have forgotten where they discarded the bodies, and how could they identify the bodies they could find

This will be like the War Graves Commission after WW2, recover as much as they can and try to give the families something to bury

See John Swinney and the SNP (**** off @brb @Saf @Spurlock) have been at it again with their bullshit regarding a referendum if they win a majority, something that looks almost impossible right now.

Usual bollocks from them lot, let's try and divide the country as much as humanly possible before an election and hope to split the vote.

Reform UK are polling 20pts in Scotland now and it's the one time I will be royally cheering them on, hope they give Unionists a massive landslide.

Wonder how an independence vote now would go. In fairness to them it’s the only card they can play other than saying “vote for us because we aren’t the other guys”.

Bout the same as the last, all the same questions remain unanswerable which is what crippled the last campaign.

Hate to say it but we also have the fact Reform UK has became the second most popular party in Scotland.
