He's not getting jeered every time he touches the ball though is he? That's a huge exaggeration!
As for the booing I made my personal feelings clear on that Saturday night but it's not exactly a huge rarity. Fans who perceive that their team have performed badly will have at least some who will boo at probably 80% of clubs.
When he comes on, what sound do the fans make? When he comes close to the fans, what are individuals shouting at him? What one thing has happened at our club to make him feel supported by the supporters?
And let’s be absolutely clear: I don’t know if he is a decent player. I agree we need someone good now. But writing someone off as a footballer for all time after a couple of games in a new country is childish.
