Shame, but won't define our season. Too open down our left for the first 30mins.

Liked us much better with the switch to the back 3. Mukiele getting forward looked good. Worth considering playing Gertrude as the RCB in a 3 with Mukiele as RWB.

A bit disappointed in the performance to be honest, think that’s the worst we’ve played so far. The lads seemed a bit disjointed and struggled to put together a decent amount of passes.

On to the next one regardless. A real opportunity against wolves

Totally annoyed. Our left hand side was anonymous in the first half and Amad made them pay. I don't think Enzo had a good game.

Second half they were happy just to sit and protect their lead

Exactly, you're not allowed to go for the ball at head height, especially in a crowded penalty area ...

... the referee was a total coward.

We didn't deserve to win the game but that's not the point.

11 points is a great start, roll on wolves. Felt a lot of overconfidence going into this one. Got it wrong amd we move on, we’ll be fine

I think the coaching team slightly underestimated Man Utd today. I don't think it's even a shape or personnel selection issue, more just mindset - we were far too open and basically set up to go toe to toe with them. Regardless of their struggles they still have a lot of talented players, in hindsight I'd have liked to see us try and keep it tight (even with Adingra and Traore if need be), play twenty yards deeper and try and hit them on the break for the first half an hour or so, then would be the time to go more expansive for me.

Ah well, no shame in today and I'm sure we'll come out stronger.

Yeah that starting line up was strange, starting adingra was wrong, played right into their hands on man utd right hand side. A lot better when Ballard came on. A bit disappointed but hopefully a learning curve for Reggie.

I'm looking at it in mini sections with the international breaks being the markers. We've got 6 points in the first section and 5 in the second. With the games we have had the second is the most impressive in my opinion.

Yes today was a bit meh but overall we've made a brilliant start. I'd still snap anyone's hand off for 17th this season and we are going to lose games. This was a bit of a free hit to me as despite Man Utds problems they still have quality players throughout their team. The Wolves game is the one and hopefully this result will galvanise us for it.

Yes we could have had a pen and Ballard probably should have scored which would have got us right back in the game but overall I don't think we can really complain about the result.

    cheers again RTB...

well, serves me reet for expecting to much, honestly thought we would get something today but the lads seemed really slow and second to everything...more or less stopped watching which is unusual for me.

amad had probably his best 45 for them in the first half.

never mind, still plenty games to go and plenty more upsets along the way as well as plenty more wins.

Would have been interesting if the chance in the first few minutes for Traore had gone in, think Utd’s 4rse would have dropped out

Poor team selection and first 30 mins cost us.
Ref and officials were very poor as well. Clear foul on Traore. Why couldn’t VAR have got that correct.
Missed some decent chances, Ballard, Mayenda and Talbi should each have scored.
Looking forward to getting back to the SOL against Wolves.
    Onward and upwards.

Only because he was given space Adingra not tracking back left Masuaka isolated.
Once that was sorted we looked solid.
Le Bris set us up wrong but he will learn.
