We don't look like a team, especially going forward, just a collection of individuals.

Derby looked a bang average championship team yet probably should have won.

He's young he may be one day but not now.

People are a bit OTT about him. He laid it off really well for Fellows' chance at the end, and had got himself in a position to shoot had Fellows passed it square. He's not there yet, of course, but I don't think he's as bad as people think, just hugely lacking confidence and needs a lot of coaching.

McCarthy got us a point. And why did he take Scienza off? We got worse after he went off.

Because WS is out of his depth.

-He should really be aware that substitutions are supposed to make us stronger.

-Doesn't know his best formation

-Doesn't know his best players.

2 wins from 9 and 16th in the table? He'll be gone by Christmas

Looking distinctly lower mid table in performances it must be said, the results are a fair reflection of how we have been playing.

I know some are going for Will Still, but I think its looking like another poor transfer window from the recruitment team. I'm not sure which managers are getting the goals we need from the players we have.

100%

Poor recruitment of managers as well as players has been the hallmark of SRs reign.

Those first few minutes actually looked like we'd cracked it but the performance after we scored was much worse. Stewart going off clearly didn't help. It's no coincidence we've played much better with him on the pitch. Downs isn't ready to play while Archer and Armstrong don't suit that role. Hopefully we recruit another target man in January. Maybe sell Archer to raise some money.

Yep I don’t think you can blame him for not signing a decent target man. It’s been a problem for more than just this season to be fair

Agyemang cost the same as Downs.

I think Armstrong aside we probably have among the worst striking options in the entire league.

But Armstrong is also terrible as a 9, just luckily for us he happens to be excellent from the wing in the Championship.

Its even worse from the recruitment team because as far as we know they didnt appear to have any intention of signing another striker after Downs, its not like they were going for one and just missed out. Whilst Downs has been worse so far than could have reasonably been expected, his record suggested maybe a back up development striker this season, not the man to pin our hopes on. They really appear to have a massive blind spot for that position, every SR era transfer there has been a failure.

Not one of our strikers can score regular boring goals which are essential to any promotion push, most of our goals have been worldies, set pieces or solo efforts and most of those contain an element of luck even if they look great, but it is not a solid basis for good form and we will continue to stagnate if that is all we can do.
