I don't see how you can object to Trump but think Farage is our saviour in the wings. They are pretty much the same person.

I have been following the scores in the Ryder Cup without watching any of the action. The noisy supporters are normal in this competition whether played in the USA or in Europe. I just read about the Caddy who thought it ok to get involved on the US side which is a bit different. Don't think you can get fined or carded in golf but it is extremely poor form. You would think the Yanks would put their house in order and the bloke won't appear again. But they won't. Trump will claim it was stolen of course.

An American match official joined in the abuse of the European team.....she later apologised and was relieved of her duties for the rest of the weekend.

That’s the putrid version of patriotism that people like Trump and Farage have created.

Supposedly supporting your own country in such a moronic way that it brings your flag and nation into contempt in the rest of the world.

I see that Trump is refusing entry to world leaders he disapproves of who are coming to America to attend the United Nations. In doing so, all he does is to prove that his version of America is unfit to hold the huge honour of hosting the United Nations in the first place. Free speech for those that agree with him but not the rest.

A case here of the kettle calling the pot black.........

Wayne Rooney is calling Amorim rubbish.....and will never succeed at Man U.

Rooney should know....he's managed a few clubs himself.....and failed at everyone.....so he should be able to recognize the symptoms.

I watched Rachel from Accounts address at the Labour Conference yesterday.....had turned it on to see the beginning only....but I couldn't turn it off in the end.....sound bite after sound bite of obsurd trash....receiving loud applause and clapping at every sentence ending....who believed a moment of it surely not all those nodding fruit cakes listening.

She told us that the Conservatives where finished.....and then mentioned them time and time again.....making me think she was desperately trying to convince herself.......She mentioned Farage once.....saying that he was in bed with Putin.....her and her PM boss must be so desperate to hold on to their jobs that they will trash anyone.....even Andy Burnham.....not mentioned by name of course.....luckily I'm out this afternoon and will miss the PM's love-in talk.

The poll which was in the Sunday papers is horrifying.

    Reform

    UK: 311 (+306)

    Labour:

    144 (-267)

    Lib

    Dems: 78 (+6)

    Conservatives:

    45 (-76)

    SNP:

    37 (+28)

    Greens:

    7 (+3)

    Plaid

    Cymru: 6 (+2)

    Others:

    3 (-2)

A Reform government would not only be completely incompetent - just look at the scandals that have surrounded a lot of their recent councillors and the history of fraud when the they got elected to the European Parliament - but we’ll descend to the same level as the current American administration. Is that an example we want to imitate?

I think the problem will change from immigration to emigration. What decent person would want to live in a country run by that lot?

    Right,

We've had some drama as the players and coaches left the field at the break.

Blades boss Chris Wilder has hammered a ball into the crowd and it's hit a home supporter.

He's gone to apologise but referee Adam Herczeg has shown him a red card.

I think Wilder was frustrated by the penalty award.

He just wears his heart on his sleeve.

It’s just that with him, it’s not a cheery little red heart shaped motif, it’s more like what happens when a seagull craps on your shirt.

I only watched the news tonight with coverage of today's Party Conference but there was one glaring thing that I thought Stammer got spot on. He asked what the feck Farage actually stands for and has he got a policy on anything. Spot on because I also have never heard him come out with any at all and he DOES just rubbish the Country generally. If that racist knob ever gets anywhere near Downing Street then we are buggered well and truly. What saddens me is there are enough racist knobs in this country to vote him in. Why aren't the French so bothered about boats in the Channel? Answer is there were too many dick heads who swallowed Farage's vote Brexit crap and we left. Had we stayed he would have had to find another thing not to have a policy to cure.
