The use of cash has been slowly eroded over the years.....it seems that your phone and wrist watch have been the modern trendy way to do transactions.

BUT....hang on....things might be changing......cyber attacks are now becoming the norm and the use of cash might be returning.....although shop cash registers might not be able to work due to these cyber attacks.

SO maybe the modern trend of just walking into a shop and filling your pockets and walking out without paying....might be the only way left.
 
Rooney reveals the success of his playing days was because they all played video games on the coach.
Why on earth didn't he do that on very long coach trips from Plymouth....we would have been World Club Champions.
Or was that just to long for him to concentrate.

It’s more than the tills that are likely to stop. Until you know what you’re dealing with, there’s not much option but to shut everything down. That’s likely to stop procurement and stock management, so pretty soon there’s no stock on the shelves. The recent attack on M&S is a good example.

Whether you like it or not, everything relies on IT systems these days. I like it.
 
This day an age can be rather frightening.....a persons whole life on a mobile phone.....every part of their life is on a bit of equipment 5inx3in....you see them desperately scanning through their phone to pay for the shopping...to pay for parking...to pay for their bus ride etc etc ....and now also your medical records and messages are now on your phone to book a doctors appointment or chat...its all their just waiting to be lost or stolen.....and when your patiently waiting behind them you can see that they also have various plastic cards in the other half of the phone wallet.....a muggers paradise before you.

And now and behold at any moment a cyber attack can shut it all down in an instant......Russia...China etc are surely behind some of these big cyber attacks.

On the battle field in Ukraine a drone can follow you around and kill you.....could that not happen here in real life one day....to attack you or spy on your every movement.....we'll all be walking around with equipment protecting us from a drone latching on to you.

I'm just about to go to bed with all these thoughts spinning through my brain.....please take me back to the simple days of the 1950/60's when it was just the iron curtain and an atomic bomb to worry about.

Yesterday it was Lulu on the front pages telling how she is a recovering Alcoholic.....good to hear.

Today it's Wayne Rooney telling us how alcohol could have killed him on the front pages of the newspaper.....and how Coleen saved him.
 
If escalators and teleprompters are Trumps big problems at the moment...(mustn't forget Sadiq Khan as well) then it's no wonder that it has taken him longer than one day to stop the Ukrainian War.....Putin must be a happy man that he is lower down the list at present.
 
This will take a fair ole while to bring in and I may not even be here to kick off. I cannot see how you can make this a technology thing. There is not a chance in hell of everyone being in possession of the gadget to upload this on.
 
I do hope we beat the Americans in the Ryder Cup.

It's not as if I like golf.....just a nice walk spoilt for me by having to look for your damn ball too often.

It's the hysterical over the top support that the Americans give to their plays.....and the great joy that they get from a European missing a putt or his ball ending in the rough....so unsporting is their attitude.....they'll do anything to unsettle the opposition.

AND OF COURSE....Trump strutting around in his gleaming white golf shoes....I find it hard to believe that he hasn't got his clubs with him and moving aside an American golfer so he can show them how it's done....no ball of his would be allowed to go in the rough.....no ball of his would also be allowed to miss a putt on the green.....do they not know that no team could lose with him in it.

And....regarding the Football World Cup next year.....can he really think that he can move matches around just because he wants to.....doesn't his powers include making sure all venues will be crime free......doesn't he just speak the word and everything is put right....OH NO..... that's the other Bible that Christians use.....not Trumps almighty word.

McIlroy refuses to putt amid more crowd jeers.......................Typical American behaviour ....wouldn't expect anything better from them.
 
Does anyone know anything about golf?

Is USA 3 1/2 and Europe 8 1-2 likely to make Trump happy? Should we expect airstrikes? Malicious litigation?
