But you’re talking one view from that fixture where nobody said “sack him” but instead (rightly imo) criticised what are similar failings we seem to see with a bit of regularity.. There has been countless amounts of praise where it’s been due so really we have to consider the balance of all things. It’s not all rosy right now, but it’s ok to say that Howe has also given us the best memories for 30 years and the only trophy in 70, incredible feats but not then beyond any criticism when sat in 15th and below an abysmal Man U.
Not specifically 'sack him' but GG has been quoted 3 times as saying something tantamount to that. Think its on the game thread but can't be bothered to look again. That, for me, is an unacceptable stance.
Those views weren’t just from one game. People also infer that he has to go but that’s ok as long as the actual words sack him aren’t said?
I actually agree with the 1st part, but unacceptable? If GG does want Howe out, it's just his opinion really. It's not like people haven't wanted previous managers out. I don't want Howe out btw because it's more likely to get worse than better either way, but I definitely ain't a fan of his in game management, that's all most people are saying guys.
Again where have I said GG can't have his own opinion? Just as much as GG is entitled to his opinion, then so am I. This is also a forum where we can discuss, agree or disagree on posts to the various threads and posts. That is what I am doing. You have posted a few times recently that GG is entitled to his view, to my posts. Given that I've not said GG can't hold his own opinion, why? Just because GG may say the sky is green doesn't mean I or others can't 1. Tell him hes wrong 2. Disagree with his opinion 3. Not agree with him.
Yep, those two injury time goals against Liverpool and Arsenal (two of the best teams in the world) are a crisis, lack of mentality and poor subs. The last time we even conceded an injury time loss before that was prior 2024 and tbh I cba to look further back than that.
Liverpool was an excellent performance hampered yet again by Gordon who seems crap these days. And consistently so. Arsenal? We could’ve been battered. But again picking out those two (three including Barca I suppose) selectively avoids failure to beat a poor 10 man villa, and newly promoted Leeds. Like I say my opinion is we look a bit lost - staunch defending isn’t a tactic.
