When did kids stop playing conkers, my kids collected loads today just for something to do then looked at me weirdly when I asked if they wanted me to soak them in vinegar . Games gone . Literally

The cemetery which creates a lot of compostable material has only one bin for all types of waste. So all the plastic wrappers go in the same bin as the old dead flowers.
I was walking through a local park recently and conkers lying everywhere. We used to throw sticks up for hours to get conkers. I guess health and safety has taken over. The danger of getting hit on your knuckles during a conker fight.
