From A Love Supreme: Omar Alderete's agent, Renato Bittar, has claimed that the defender was in talks to sign for AS Roma before signing for #SAFC! ️ “When the Premier League appears, and a historic club like Sunderland, there is not much to think about from our point of view. For Omar, entering such an important team as Sunderland, even if they have just been promoted, we know the history and the new investment. For him to be one of the chosen players is a source of pride. The team started well and he started super well. I think it was the correct step to take.” The Florent Ghisolfi effect…
Huge isn't it. The amount of players we've signed who are clearly based off the scouting system at Roma. No way Harvey and the lads had scouted most of these. Just hoping Harvey gets us some more youth players over the next few months
be very keen to pick up the best youth players coming out of NI and the Republic as well as Scotland. Great value and lots of diamonds in the rough to be found.
Im not so sure mate......could well be Speakman knows theres a good profit to be made on young Labradors
this squad has got people changing views, from an almost universal shout of 'obvious relegation' we are now being given a chance (leeds and burnley going well also) ...'trends' are there to be ended and i hope the three of us do just that. while our defence is getting plenty of good reports (all deserved) i feel others are getting less than deserved, xhaka gets 'fobbed off' pretty much as run of the mill but that lad decided to come here and work when he could have taken the easy dollar but him and sadiki get a lot of work done quietly so tend to get overlooked, diarra has not looked out of place and if we worried about what would happen if he was missing, in walks riggy and performs as if the role was his and was very unlucky to be subbed. talbi and adringa, in all honesty, looked very shaky but both can be seen improving game by game, hopefully when the lads all get used to playing together they will get more freedom, we also have a few to see but going off the few minutes they have had i don't see a problem.
When Sadiki gets his first goal I think I will explode. Very quickly becoming one of my favourite players. Always on the training videos smiling, and grafts his arse off in the matches. Looks to be a superb bit of business
These unknowns supposedly have shown they are going to be heroes in an area that has been starved of footballing heroes for a long period of time they seem to want to be known for giving back rather than the glory hunters and mercenaries of seasons past. We stay up they will be well remembered we go down with a fight they will be remembered. I'm loving every minute of it.
Dubrabka excellent for Burnley at the weekend I always thought that was good business as a quick fix to replacing Trafford.
He really let us down at the weekend but he’s been excellent in the main. These idiots running those accounts don’t have a clue
Aye. Just shows how little effort and research they do. Lads been class and for all he cost us likely Sunday, we are happy and lucky to have him.
Click bait, mate. Pure and simple, get people annoyed so they join in the conversation and get more traffic. Most of those other players will have some mitigation on any under par performances (Sesko playing for an out of his depth, tactically rigid manager not playing to his strengths, for example) that fans of those clubs will know about.
Aston Villa are closely monitoring Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor ahead of the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider. Sources have told Football Insider that Isidor is now valued at around the £35million mark by Sunderland.
35 million 50/60 million by the end of the season if he keeps going the way he is. But he ain't going anywhere.
