You don't always need to move either, sometime's you can find space by standing still. It's game awareness that's key

Haaland is the best striker in the world no questions asks. The guy averages a goal a game across his whole career near enough - fastest ever to 50 cl goals. Fastest to 100 prem goals.

Guy is head and shoulders above everyone else.

I don't think anyone here is denying that. Owne is an idiot.

But ar the same time Mr haaland is a big lump so comparing him to kane in terms.of movement in the box is OK.

He doesn't do anything like kane did deeper though.

Owen hasnt a clue and I can distinctly recall hoddle saying owen wasnt a natural goal scorers as well.

    Ego and jealousy imo

I don't really want to get involved in what I think is a fairly pointless discussion - but I'd just point out that the definition of "better" is crucial.
Haaland is the most prolific, but the original suggestion was that Isak is the more clinical finisher.
    Both things can be true.

Fair point - I’d argue that weights even more in favour of Haaland then.

Pretty sure I remember Fowler in an interview saying Owen wasn't a natural goal scorer as well.

    As I said.

    Ego and.....

Look fowler had the pace at first but that injury v Everton ruined him along with the rest of it.

Owen has no more.better skills than folwer but has searing pace and scored a goal.in a wolrd cup thst won him a balon d'or

Owne's idea of control was kick it 5 yards away and chase it. Seriously, I'd have fowler as a finisher over anyone bar rush.

He was a real odd ball.

Big ego and didn't like the owen hype taking from his hype.

Had to take him as the media nearly lynched him before the world cup for not including him

CHRIS SUTTON HAS GONE FOR 0: 0 DRAW,

    • Selhurst Park, 15:00 BST
I am covering this game for Radio 5 Live and part of me is thinking that Liverpool are going to click soon and just absolutely annihilate someone.

At the same time, I just don't think that is what will happen against Palace.

Palace got the better of them on penalties in the Community Shield and while I am not sure you can read too much into that, I am going for another draw this time.

    Sutton's prediction: 0-0

Kidwild's prediction: Liverpool are just doing what they always do - not playing that well but still winning. I don't think Palace will beat them but I can see them getting something, because Liverpool do concede a few. 1-1

Blanco's prediction: I went draw as well. 1-1

    AI's prediction: 1-2

JONES KNOWS BEST HAS GONE 1:1 DRAW.
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool, Saturday 3pm - PLAY SUPER 6 HERE!
The lazy narrative will tell you that Liverpool have the title wrapped up already. Results say they're flying - unbeaten in five, late winners. But peel back the scoreboard and ask yourself, are this team that convincing?

    For me? No.

This team are getting the job done, yes, but there's a lack of control in games that is leading to fine margins deciding the outcomes. That should ring a few alarm bells. Bournemouth caused them problems. Newcastle ran all over them. Burnley almost stifled them. Everton nearly nabbed them.

Palace can punish them. Oliver Glasner has built a no-nonsense team that are almost perfect in terms of organisation without possession. Since they got beat 5-0 at Newcastle they are unbeaten in 17 competitive games, and they've won two trophies in that time. Across those 17 games they have just conceded nine goals and bagged nine clean sheets. That pure structural discipline can lead them to a result here on the double chance at Evens with Sky Bet.

    SCORE PREDICTION: 1-1

This is another difficult game, but so was Everton, so was Arsenal and so was Newcastle. There are bound to be periods in the game where the opposition have good spells and yes, we have not really clicked yet with all the new players coming in. It will be a difficult game for Palace as well

Thought Danns might be on the bench, is he injured?
    Wirtz playing in Gakpo's position?

Still think Robbie should be starting ahead of Kerkez at the moment. Definitely looks like Witz on the LW.

Excited to see Wirtz from the left. Still think will get more space and time to drift there, albeit against palace back 5 and Munoz will be a tricky one.

    Interesting team.

Palace either pin you back or you pin them back so wirtz should actually drift or he will be picked up by spare cb and their best player is free to rampage.

Munoz has to be worried about wirtz or he will be all over kerkez.
