i will start a rumuor that we are intrested in a player and will not stop until the red rags print it on the back pages.....problem is who shall it be???
 
For me I have such a low opinion of the papers that there isn't any rumour they could print that would shock me anymore
 
Or a story about how Lukaku doesn't fit in with chelsea as everyone else is old enough to be his dad and he wants to move to a young, dynamic squad?
 
Reports are circling that Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has identified AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to bolster his frontline and help Tottenham's cause in their push for a top 4 place and a potential title challenge. Ian Broomfield, Redknapp's chief scout was spotted at the San Siro over their past couple of games, presumably checking up on the fiery Swedish international. Redknapp has been assured by chairman Daniel levy that funds are available for a world class player, something Ibrahimovic certainly fits into. Levy will look to investments from advertising as a means of contributing towards the players salary, which currently at Milan, is around the £175,000 a week mark. Ibrahimovic himself is thought to be keen on testing himself in England, having currently had succesful spells in Holland, Spain and Italy and therefore a move to high flying Tottenham could well be in the pipeline.

In all seriousness, the board have my full backing, we wouldn't be where we are if weren't for Levy and co so I trust their judgements and decisions :)

Moght as well go the whole hog - It's got to be Messi. After all, we've already been linked with just about everybody else.
 
Convinced me completely, outstanding. (See my serious response to the Ibrahimovic article!).

My only criticism is it sounds too plausible to pass for journalism!

Love "reports are circling." Makes the casual reader think something big is in the wind when you're really just being windy.
