Guys we were making good progress. What happened? We don’t need to fight. We just need to see the facts……. I don’t know what they are though apart from we got a point. We defended well. We didn’t try and win the game. Willock is finished. Did I get these all right?
This is between me and you folders stop searching for helpers... Welshie is just being Welshie. You asked me if I had a lesson.. I wasn't even talking to you, but I replied and the conversation continued. You got particularly bothered, when I advised opinions should be challanged not attacked... I was of course just right.
Welshie confirmed what I had already been saying to you. You are consistently trying to tell people what they are feeling like. Take my word, don’t give up your daytime job. If you’re not capable of answering my point, which you have failed miserably to do so far, then I’m not wasting any more time with you. Say what you want but just because you say it 5 times it doesn’t make you right. The posts and their tone and tenor speak for themselves.
If you say this again me and you are going to fall out. Nothing I've said has been passive aggressive and you're simply continuing to attack me rather than debate the match.. I can be nasty too mate but it takes a whole lot. Pack it in yeah..
Don’t encourage it……. It’s dangerous. And anyways we are all friends in here. Howe got it wrong today didn’t he?
I don't think he got it wrong he put a team out there which should be capable of getting a result, and it did , it got a point People forget that the opposition also put a team out trying to get a result People moaned about not playing this player or that player before the game but did any of the ones he put in make a strong claim to start the next game ? I didn't see many
As the newly, self appointed referee on match day differences of opinion, I have to be completely neutral and cannot, therefore should not offer my opinion on such matters. That said, if following Newcastle pisses certain folks off that much, may I respectfully suggest they f@ck off and find something that either gives them joy or aligns with their f@cking miserable existence.
I'm glad Eddie started Hall, Botman, Thiaw snd Woltemade. It's clear all 4 still need more match sharpness, but you only get that through playing in games, not just from training sessions. Hopefully it will come. And I'm glad he dropped Barnes & Tripps. I just wish the 5 4 1 set up had been tried in a week when Bruno and Big Joe were also fully fit, as Willock and Miley were mostly ineffective in midfield. I don't think it was a mistake, but some players are clearly still gaining match fitness following injuries or joining the club this summer. Ultimately it was a hard earned point away from home against a team in good form. OK so a very boring, non eventful game - and not the first this season. Lack of creativity was bloody frustrating, but I can see that once Gordon, Wissa, Ramsey are back in contention we can set up differently and the new players are still adjusting. I think we'll pick up in a few games.
I’m happy with the point but that second half was god awful and if that’s what how has in mind for all our away games I feel sorry for the travelling fans. The subs were ineffective.
Yes I agree. It was a pragmatic performance and he was just trying to ensure we didn’t lose. We were poor in the second half mind. The result come the end of the season maybe a good one.
You asked what Howes supposed to do.. I get he's damned if he does and damned if doesn't make changes if they don't win enough though.. That's how it goes. Has anyone really gone in on Howe today? Not really and I think everyone said it's a good point and some added a few criticisms based on their personal opinions, which may be irrelevant, but they're theirs and it shouldn't bother anyone who doesn't share them.
I pointed out criticism for rotation when the last time we were in Europe the criticism was for not rotating. That’s not just opinion, it’s contradiction.
