How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

You and Spurly could march hand in hand, I'm sure he would like that, show us what can be achieved for world peace, with kindness and love.

Everyone’s always marching. Has one march in this country achieved anything in a generation or more? Eleventy billion people marched against the Iraq war and really was anyone arsed? Just a **** way of going for a walk and I like walking.

@PINKIE has probably gone into hiding now until after the Man City game, here's me trying to Unite the Kingdom and proving Piskie has **** ideas.

Tbph there is nothing stopping any of those religious groups from getting together and creating their own Unite the Kingdom march. Maybe @Spurlock don't want to march with the Hindu's or the Jews. <laugh>

I'd happily march with all those groups combined if I could be arsed. My point being this isn't just a one way street where you blame one side for all evils.

So what was stopping any of those people going along, I wasn't invited so am I being discriminated against. I could have just turned up like any of those people you mention. Maybe like me, they feel there is no need to march, but we want our voices heard, not constantly ignored like they have been.

There's even nothing stopping any of those groups setting up a march for the same reasons, maybe like me they don't think they will be listened to by the politicians, so rather spend the day watching the footie.

Probably because it was organised by right wing anti-immigrant campaigners Tommy Robinson and ex Britain First and EDL members.

It wasn't designed as an inclusive rally to 'Unite the Kingdom', it was designed to give voice to anti immigrant sentiments.

I'd love to see a proper Unite the Kingdom rally where everybody from all ethnic backgrounds were encouraged to unite under the banner of their Britishness. But that's not what Tommy Robinson had in mind with this rally

People are free to assemble and show their frustrations with immigration if they want, but let's not pretend this was anything else.

I've had a word with @Spurlock and we're on it.

And yeah I agree it's not about blaming one side for all evils, I'm just pointing out that the Unite the Kingdom rally wasn't designed to unite the kingdom at all.

You know what, this country probably needs another Royal Wedding or something that folk can unite behind. I'm not even a royalist, but some good street tea parties is what we need rather than painting roundabouts <laugh>

I'm working again today at this food fest, so if we lose I'll probably be too busy to respond :bandit:

What I don't get about this endless conversation is that those who sit in the 'we must let them all in or you're racist' camp can't see that there is a massive ****ing problem.

We don't have room for them all, we can't afford to home, clothe, feed and wipe their arses, while we ignore problems at home.

Not everyone in that march is far right, they just aren't. There are a load of ordinary people who are genuinely concerned that we are being colonised.

Black or white, absolutely no middle ground here.

I agree - about the march - yes, knobheads like Tommy were there and used it for their divisive agenda - but there were also plenty of 'normal people' that wanted to celebrate our history, pageantry and show that flying the national flag(s) is not neccesarily a sign of right wing extremism but rather of being proud to be British ...

And that’s what Tommeh was cashing in on. He can now say ‘Look, 100k people turned up because they’ve had enough’. When in fact like you say, loads of those folk were there simply because they are proud to be British and don’t stand for the same divisive ****e that Tommeh promotes.

Whatever people think of Robinson, Farage, etc you have to say that they are very good at communicating their message and using the media to get it across. This is what makes them dangerous imo. Same tactics as Brexit and Trump, appeal to peoples emotions, tell the working class that foreigners are ruining your life and make promises that you cannot keep.

I think Farage will win the next election unless something drastically changes and I think he’ll offer Tommy Robinson a place in that Govt. We’ll have our own version of Trump and Elon.

Yay

So again you just made up a narrative to suit your rhetoric.

I had no idea who had organised the march when I first heard about it, so why should any of those other people. We are not all obsessed like you in following Tommy Robinson in everything he does, I have no interest in him at all. Now if you was saying the message only got out to fhe far right from it's influncers I'd have said fair enough, maybe that's likely and would explain why I'd never heard about it, but you never.

There were a lot of people at that march who were not far right, it would be like me tarring a Palestinian march as a far left march, I'd hope sensibility cuts in and says well actually it could be anyone from any walk of life.

You just want to keep chucking this racist rhetoric about to justify your stance on migration and pretending it's not an invasion. If it wasn't for you and Sucky I'd probably never know anything about Tommy Robinson, just think about that for a moment, because you keep blaming Sucky, but in fact you are part of the problem to...and why is that, because of your far left ideology.

It was pretty well known that it was Tommy Robinson who organised the march

Muslims don’t turn up to rally organised by Tommy Robinson shocker

Pretty well known to whom, I don't follow him and never had a clue, it's all those rabbit holes you keep going down, like you keep accusing Sucky of. When I go on Twitter unless I'm looking for something specific by a tool bar search, it's purely for football.

You seem to know more about Tommy and Farage then anyone else. I don't watch GBNews, I don't support or contribute to any of their campaigns, everything I hear about them is from you and Sucky...or GC.

Yes SKY News have the general passing of Farage, and they might mention when Tommy is getting locked up again, but that's it in regards to my feed on them. Populism exists for a reason, like I said with Trump, ignore the ****s and they go away, but you can't do that because you are obsessed.

Until that Unite the Kingdom march I thought Farage had no chance of getting in, good, but now I'm thinking again, that's a lot of 'concerned' people, it don't help when you hear another 1,000 migrants have landed today or whenever.

It needs to stop, the numbers are going to keep growing, they are unsafe boats, overcrowded, it's just criminal activity that needs nipping in the bud, otherwise by this time next year we will have in excess of another 32,000 again, probably touching the 50k mark, how big is your house, I'm sure you could take a 100 or so in.

Each year we are filling up a football stadium lol. I think we might try and fill Anfield next year. If not we will down grade it to Everton.

Morning btw.

You think Tommy organised that march because he wants to unite all the ethnic groups in Britain ?

It was pretty much on every media channel that it was Tommy’s rally. It came directly on the back of his ‘raise the colours’ campaign. You didn’t really need to go digging down obscure rabbit holes to find that out tbh

But yeah I agree with you, as I said a few comments back, unless something drastically changes I think Reform will win the next election. That’s the direction this country is heading in now.

You think most of those people just wanted show how proud they are to be brittish when in reality most of those people on that march want the illegals sent home, that doesn't make them racist it just means they have seen the absolute piss being taken and have had enough

So why you looking at every media channel over it, obsessed see. I saw marchers in the main peaceful marchers, yeah there were a few ****s but they got dealt with. Unfortunately Robinson was there, I can't odds that, but if Tommy turned up to an Arsenal game at the Emirates, would that make every Arsenal supporter a racist....lol He probably supports Port Vale or Stoke, see I can engage in rhetoric to,
